Marcello,

I placed my order for the inserts. Also, at some point I'm getting my front bumper repainted. Will the inserts come out and reinstall ?

Thanks

Walt

Like everyone else, I've been waiting on these, and thought I might have come late to the party, but as of a few minutes ago, they are still available!

Unless, of course, I managed to snag the last pair!

My inserts showed up at my door at 9:30 EST this morning!

I'm taking them to work and then I will install them at the body shop when I pick up my car this afternoon. I don't know what going to look the best--the Cervini concept hood, the Legend splitter, or the SHR inserts. I suspect it will be the latter!

Marcello;

"Has anyone snapped these in at -30 deg C."
Misunderstanding --
-30 deg Centigrade is the Install temperature.
I won't be touching the Mustang until Spring.

Today it is a balmy -15
Snow looks like this, last Winter. Car is in Coverall

The inserts are packaged very well--although a corner of the box was collapsed, this is more a function of my FEDEX guy (my past three FEDEX deliveries, boxes have had holes in them or have been smashed a little bit, but the parts themselves arrived unscathed).

The inserts themselves are great--and these are preproduction models! Thanks Marcello! Good things do indeed come to those who (somewhat patiently) wait.

What do you think?

Me likes the hood a lot

You been looking at what I want to do to my car I see !! Seriously, looks nice, we'll have standoffs for the splitter as soon as we can get to it, so that it will finish off the front end nicely.

Oops - there I go talking again...

Mine arrived today as well - packaged perfectly. What a GREAT fit. It's like the inserts WANTED to be there.

I love the way they finish off the front end. To me - it looks like they should have been there from the beginning.

A couple pics....

Wow, thanks!

Pre-Production run is SOLD OUT! All orders from here forward will be for production pieces, coming by the week of the 21st. We're setting up to run the tool again starting Friday, and it will run continuously until the first main run is done. Now that we see how well it's going in the GT, we might consider something more involved than what we were thinking about for the GT/CS... But it'll take a little while to get there, you know this stuff doesn't happen overnight (although we wish it could!)

Stanchions, stand-offs, dampers, adjustable turnbuckles... whatever you want to call them, I see a need for them at high speed on the existing piece, and so we're going to get around to making them. As usual, if I want them for my car, someone else probably could use a set too

Finally got my hands on the new ME. Good to see my pictures in there. Though, my fiance asked where the full picture went. Got some mod money coming in over the next few months, so my next picture set will be more than magazine worthy

I can tell you guys when I was at Ford we called these honeycomb inserts for the F 150 fish mouth inserts since the opening in the front bumper was always there. This piece fits my fish mouth to the bone! Thanks Marcello!

It's not always about worthy even - sometimes it's just a simple matter of space... given the cost of those new ads, every square millimeter is a small fortune, so we have to pick and choose carefully, not too much of any one color car, etc...

Not to say we won't be rotating pictures in and out

On the fishmouth - that's kind of where we saw this being implemented and thought it would work well here too !

Oh, I understand that completely. I was just saying my car is going to undergo a transformation a bit, that's all. I'm tired of the grill, so that's the first thing going.
