Pre-Production run is SOLD OUT! All orders from here forward will be for production pieces, coming by the week of the 21st. We're setting up to run the tool again starting Friday, and it will run continuously until the first main run is done. Now that we see how well it's going in the GT, we might consider something more involved than what we were thinking about for the GT/CS... But it'll take a little while to get there, you know this stuff doesn't happen overnight (although we wish it could!)
I must have got one of the last sets...tracking says I'll get mine Weds.

Excellent Items

They delivered my set(s) today.
Marcello, excellent packaging, not a dent or scratch in the box or the contents.
As far as the inserts, they fit perfectly and as expected, the design and craftsmanship is excellent.
But, where are the "blemishes"?
I could not see / find any.

As usual, an excellent item from an excellent supplier.

Keep up the good work Marcello !!

Thanks, as usual, I'm pretty picky about what we let out the door here, and while the pieces could have passed off as "production" for a lot of shops, we wanted it to be 100% when we started shipping production pieces. The "blemish" is that the top clip area does not blend into the outer frame housing as well we would like, so on a lot of the sets that just left, we were hand-sanding them prior to leaving to smooth it out, which of course then showed a finish mismatch. Like I said, you can't see it in the installed position unless you're under the car, but when they come out of the box, we want them to look just as good as products like our honeycomb panel and louvers do. Since all the investment is in the tool, making it as good as possible now will mean better parts for as long as we make them.

Yes, exactly like that. Thanks for making up my mind. I wasn't 100% sure, but now I am. Going with CS69 wheels I think, though.

Sorry to thread-rob. Back to the topic...

Not a problem - TJ over at Trick Pro can do the install, he's done I think 4-5 sets now. I don't know what he charges, but he's got the setup to take care of it over there.

Tell him Mo sent you, he'll know who it is!

Actually, this is a valid point. How easy is it for someone to rip these off?

Very easy. But they'd have to know they were inserts and not part of the grill, and that's not likely. They're a very subtle accent, so few people, if any, will notice them. Kind of like when someone deletes their antenna. People don't so much notice it missing, as they think the car looks good. If you're really worried about it, as stated, you can cement them in. But I seriously doubt they'd get stolen.
