I finally get to post in this thread.

I just received and installed a set of deep dish black bullitt wheels from Mustang Tuning. These are the new ones that do not require spacers on the front or rear. They are 18x9 on the front and 18x10 on the rear. I’m running BF Goodrich KDW2’s in 255/45-18 front and 285/40-18 rear.

I have some suspension components ordered but they haven’t arrived yet. I went with the BMR 1.25â€/1.75†lowering springs, BMR adjustable panhard rod, and a set of Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks/struts. I already have the BMR strut tower brace (purchased from VegasJay) but I’m waiting to install it when I do the rest.

Anyway, here are some pics…

That looks great! They come out the right amount. Can't wait to see it after the springs.

My new BC 18x9 Smoothie IIs with Nitto 255/45-ZR-18

For anyone who was wondering I did weigh the 235/55-ZR17 stock wheels/tires 49-50 lbs on my bathroom scale. The new 255/45-ZR18 wheel/tire combo was 55-56 lbs.

Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dogs...

Tires are BF Goodrich KDW NT

18x9 with 255/45-18 tires up front

18x10 with 285/40-18 tires on back.

I should note that these Coddington wheels were made with very poor quality control. One of my wheels was over .100" out of round. This caused a bad vibration and steering wheel shudder. I know of one other person on this board that had three out of four new wheels defective. Discount tire went to bat for me and found a replacement. Coddington was absolutely no help with the problem. They more or did not seem to care that they were putting out defective product. The new wheel still had some run out ( 0.01") in it. However, I do not detect any vibration or steering wheel shudder with this wheel.

I like the look of the wheel, but I would NOT recomend them due to the poor quality of construction and near complete lack of customer service....

Just put on the summer sneakers. Went to the BFG 255-50-17's. Much more stick than the oems. Getting ready to lower and install crossdrills.

Check it out... here's what I want to do to my '05 GT:
Install FR Handling Pack (will lower car 1 1/2")
Install FR Performance Pack
switch up to 18" CHROME FORD RACING MUSTANG WHEELs (M-1007-f500c)

What ya'll think? What'll my NEW ground clearance be? any issues that I might be overlooking adding this stuff that I might need to be aware of?
