The fatty rims arent really "rice". Theyre more "pimp in the big suv". So I geuss if thats you it works out.

I'm sorry but I just couldn't let these go without saying something. Please tell me these are a joke...right? Some company actually makes these rims, seriously? And charges money for them??

And people BUY them?? I'm just....I'm really at a loss here. Car and picture seem to be in Europe somewhere...hopefully they don't make it over here at any point.

isn't anyone else's internal Mustang-alert sirens going off or is it just me?

K
Kristina, I think you are being judgemental. Maybe if you saw them on your car, you might change your mind.

Ya know...usually it is me that is the one that steps up and actually states my opinion whenever someone throws out the "what do ya think" post... I'm glad someone else did it for a change. But just for the record, I couldn't agree more.

Thanks for the info and photos. I'm thinking about getting a set of staggered 20's. They are second on death row. The StopTech BBK seems to be able to slaughter my plans for wheels one after another. I'm going to make some calls tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

You are not the only one that thinks this, but I was not able to say anything because after seeing those pics I had to double my meds and that almost put me into a coma.

I work in a hospital, almost dragged myself to the ER after seeing the chop on the performance white! I was screaming down the halls "My Eyes! My Eyes!"

im not really a fan of the rims, but the do make his car look "unique".
I think that when people ask what do you think, theyre asking for "yes, i like them" or " no, i dont", but i noticed, not just on forums, but even where i live, if something is on a car that someone doesnt like they make so many rude comments about it. If people dont like something then just say its not your cup of tea.

dont make anyone feel bad about what they like. For ex., i dont like bullit rims but i would never be rude and say how horribe it looks, or how it makes me rush to the er or anything of that like that.

all im saying is can we all be a little respectful of other peoples choices?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA OK i couldn't stop laughing at your picture. That was brilliant!!

You know now that I see them on my car, i DOOOOO like them!

OK i know I was a touch harsh - any other forum and that guy would have been ROASTED so in the grand scheme of things, he got off pretty easy if all that happened was me chastizing him.

Different strokes for different folks is one thing, but there's a statute of limitations even on that...

While i will agree with you in 99.5% of the cases out there, it's not like I told him his first born was so ugly, it was unlovable. Or told him that something that he was eating was so horribly disgusting, that I thought I would vomit right then and there.

He HAS to know that buying rims like that, for ANY car, esp a Mustang, will be even slightly controvertial. He likes them obviously, and good on him for not giving in to common sense or any semblence of styling prowess. But buying those rims, and posting pics of them on a forum full of Mustang lovers...well if he couldn't see this coming, he needs his eyes checked.

I expected to get harassed for my post, but I wanted to state my opinion anyways. Glad to see the majority here agree with me too! I normally bite my tongue but this was just too extreme for even me to keep quiet!

(ps - sorry if any feelings were hurt )

I'm running Forgeline SP3P wheels. The wheels are 19" modular, forged, and very lightweight. The centers are powdercoated gunmetal grey and the lips are polished aluminum. They are high end wheels, up there with Fikse and HRE.

They're 19x9 up front with 275/35's and 19x10 in rear with 295/35's.

Ah, I wish I could tell ya...never had a chance to weigh them. I just remember lifting the wheels out of the boxes and being amazed at how light they were. They felt like they were made out of plastic or like the wheel center was hollow. It's amazing.

I asked because I weighed a stock setup and it was 50lbs on my scale...then the new tires I have are at 53. Is that extra 3lbs going to really make any difference?
