Quarter Window Louvers and Visibility

My teenage son and I just acquired '06 Mustangs and we are interested in adding some quarter window louvers. I am a bit concerned about the loss of visibility in the blind spot with the louvers in place. I know there are many different styles available, but I'd like to know if any of you has found a nice compromise between style and safety.

Thanks!

I've got the CDC louvers and while your visibility is obviously not the same it's still more than enough to see if there's a car in your blind spot or not. I think it's the same for most other louvers.

I've had no problems with my MRT louvers. The angle is just right to see outside the passenger side 1/4 window.

Thanks a ton everybody. Based on the experiences you've shared, I think we can go ahead and order some.

I had DG louvers on my '06 and you didn't really lose any visibility. Now i have SHR and the passenger side is fine, but you really can't see out of the driver's side quarter window just because of the angle. a lot of ppl don't use the driver's side anyway. it doesn't affect me, i still recommend the SHR louvers b/c they look so cool.

I really love the SHR for my car, but I'm not sure what my son wants to do with his. I suspect he'll go with SHR too, especially if he talks me into paying for them.

Thanks for all of your helpful comments.

The Roush's are my favorite, and they'll go great with the Roush body kit. But the SHR's are a close second.
