GTS Ram air fiberglass hood

Anyone with this hood? The GTS Ram Air fiberglass hood? Looks like the KR's hood and I like it a lot. Do you know if it's a true ram air hood? (they show the underside of other hoods, but not this one) Any other places to get it besides http://www.mrbodykit.com/bodykits/hoods05_06.htm
(it's about half way down)

Looks to me like those are DCF pictures. Did they buy the rights to the hood?

I bought a ducktail spoiler from this company and it took me 2 weeks to get the wing... then when I got it, it looked like it was thrown in the box/taped/shipped. It was twisted and had pits all through it. I called and emailed them for a week and could not get a response back for ****. I finally got a new one (in a do able shape) about a month later. I wont buy from them again but I just wanted to give you a little fyi.

I wouldn't buy from them or even recieve free things from that vendor.

I have the GTS2 hood fully functional. The question is then if you wanna take your chances dealing with a product Trufiber ships out. It seems like its a 50-50 to get a good product with good customer service. Heres a picture of mine

This is the first I've seen about people being unhappy with the hoods from them. I'm still waiting for my GTR. I figured since they were advertising on this site they were pretty reputable. I was kind of thrown off when I went to their website and none of the places I clicked brought up anything. Well the hood is supposed to ship next week or the following week. I wasn't very happy w/ LMPerformance.com, the website that I ordered the hood from for 400.00; best price that I could find, for not telling me on the website that the hood was backordered and I also wasn't very happy that it was going to be almost 6 weeks before I got it from TruFiber after my initial order. I will say that its not Trufiber's fault that LMPerformance did not post this on the item. But I'm not going to blast anybody just yet b/c I haven't seen the product and they haven't past the ship date I was told.

Heres a pic of the Trufiber Hood I sent back because it was bowed in mid fender. The would not warr. the next hood or repay me for shipping so I would NOT buy anything from Trufiber. They do not stand behind their product.

This was a topic heavily discussed on the mustangforums. I believed the threads posted by VAstang got closed by the forum admin...

Like I said, I'm not going to hate on anyone or any company. I was just thrown off by the company that I ordered from b/c they did not tell me about the time delay on the hood, but that's not TruFiber's fault.

Like most any company, you'll get those who rave about a product who have had a good experience, and those who rant having been stung by a bad product. My body shop guy told me not to bring him any TruFiber products as he wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole having dealt with many problem pieces that were low quality and demanded inordinate amounts of prep. However, others on the site have had good success with theirs and are positive about the company. Some companies, like Cervini, seem to enjoy a higher level of positive comments. I just wish they made the same hood as the GTS2 since I'm not fond of their existing KR style hood.

Well thats the point of the forum to help others and inform. I'd feel bad if I didn't mention anything and then someone did dealings with them and got screwed. I had a good experience with TruFiber. I wouldn't try my luck again but thats not the point. My hood was good but I know many others who weren't as fortunate.

I will give them one thing. They have IMO the best looking hoods on the market.
