I'm considering getting the SHR honeycomb trunk panel for my Pony, but I'm on the fence as far as looks, since my car is black.

Would like someone who has already installed on their black Stang (preferably Vert) to post pix?

There is a pic on SHR's site but I would like to see other angles.

Art, I knocked around the idea of installing the SHR Honeycomb rear insert myself but on black it doesn't seem to have the same effect that it does on other colors...IMO!

 

I have the panel. hope you can see it. might be a little dark. i like it and people seem to think it has a subtle but pleasing affect to the overall look of the rear.

 

Not a big fan of it on black. Here's some pics though.

honeycomb panel doesn't but adds something subtle. have you ever thought about just shaving that whole area and keeping it black w/out the fake gas cap?

Here you go. 2 rears and another one just because. Not the best pics though, sorry. I love my SHR panel, get lots of compliments on it . Def makes it more unique since 99% of the Black Stang owners don't do this mod. I think it compliments the front grill nicely and breaks up the shiny black paint well. I also like the way it brings the center(rear) flush with the body.JMHO though.
