Thumbs up

I am thinking of removing my Roush scoop and getting the CDC shaker but I think out of the 7 holes I had to drill for the scoop the back 2 for sure will still be there when I cut the hole for the shaker. How do you fill holes on an aluminum hood? Bondo, fiberglass??

I cannot download the instructions on CDC site to see where the hole gets cut for the shaker so I think it will just be the 2 holes I will have to worry about...any ideas? Thanks.

Hey Scott. Do a search on CDC shaker. Both Don_w and myself posted tips and pics on how to install the shaker system. The hardest part is getting the 2 throttle body bolts back into place. As far as the holes in the hood from the roush scoop, hopefully they fall along the cut line. The trim piece for the shaker covers 1/2" from the cut line so hopefully you won't have to do any filling. If you do, well, that is going to be a bit tricky.

It will get rid of 5 of the holes, I am going to have to get the back too filled. Called a bunch of body shops and since it is just 2 holes they can be filled with aluminum welding or bondo as long as the backing plate is aluminum....be about $150 to fix the 2 holes...ouch!
