Nice V-6 customize

I like the stripes the way they are around the plate as someone said above nice contrast. Still undecided about the pin stripes.
Don't care for the wheels and tires, not a big fan of big wheels and low profile tires. JMO

Like the Redfire with the stripes. Very nice.
Also like the 1/4" pinstripe, but I would have done the pinstripes on each side of the larger stripes. This might eliminate the "unfinished" look on the back.
Don't like the tires or the wheels, especially for the price but not even for free. That car with any of the Mustang 17" rims would have looked awesome.

Whoever buys the car is welcome to take the sticker off but as long as we are dealing and discounting the car, our sticker stays
The wheels are personal taste but we have sold them as fast as we have been putting them on. It doesn't matter what I think or you think, if customers are willing to buy them then who are we to say they are wrong. That's the wonderful thing about this country, we call all have our opinions about something like this and who is to say who is right or wrong!

My take on the car:
1.) Silver stripes on Redfire looks very classy now that i see it
2.) It would have been nice for license plate area to be painted, but what bugs me more is the red around the trunk badge.
3.) The wheels look like FR500 look-alikes, but they're about 2 inches too big and should be in a regular silver color or anthracrite (sp?) to look more fitting to a Mustang
But overall, I like the car.

hmmm
not for me.
Our dealer charges 499 for vinyl half done off center bubbly stripes......Which are done and then tacked on the sticker

I like the painted on stripes but not the wheels. My Vinyl stripes were $350 installed for front top and sides.

Not only are the wheels too big, but the offset's wrong. Look at the rear tire in the last pic. It clearly sticks out too much.
Yes, the stripe job looks cheap and incomplete.
If those things are selling well, it just shows how desperate some people are for a Mustang. They'll take ANYTHING.

That's for sure! I've seen a ton of mods that I don't like, but somebody is paying for them! Still, I can't imagine "free nitrogen" signs at gas stations after a fill-up.
Just my opinion, anyway. Again, the stripes do look great on the Redfire.

We took a poll of the salespeople and the body shop painter and everyone was on the same page that the stripes look better like this, regardless of the extra work. I don;t know if you can tell but there are actually 4 stripes on the car, two wide ones and [2] 1/4 inch on the outside of the wide ones.
The wheels do look better on the GT. The company that puts the package together claims that the nitrogen enhances the ride and handling on the low profile tires. i will have to admit, it does drive good. I took it to a show last Saturday and it got a lot of looks.
The striping is $995.00 and it is clearcoated.
The wheel package is $2795.00 for the 20" rims.

The Stripping price is great, I wish I was near you. But the wheel price I guess is fair for 20" I would have to see them.
So what happens to the factory wheels? Do you still get them? If not wheres the credit for them? If not and not then the wheel package seems high.

$4000 in dealer markups for average looking stripes and wheels that don't fit the car... Jeesh, and you can't even take your stock rims/tires and sell them on e-bay
My question is: Do dealers do this to cars to help them sell faster, or for more profit? I wouldn't think it'd be both .

OK, just want to let everyone know. The sticker style dealer decals come off easily without damage.

I hear ya mister-e! Just make sure to get them off after the first few weeks. Otherwise, you can take them off and see paint fade underneath. And you're right, if there's HOLES punched in the car... then that's a MAJOR problem!
