we could paint the entire thing any color...including the clear plastic area that has the gt in it, then do whatever design on it and maybe airbrush the gt back on it in its original location???? There is no way to keep the factory gt if we do any painting on the clear palstic part

maybe have the flames going from the bottom up and have the GT in the middle of the flames in a contrasting color

What about airbrushing over the FORD GT differently. Perhaps with a fire type of lettering. FORD seems to be indented into the emblem but could the GT be redone from scratch? Then maybe some type of smoke in the black inlay.
I think that the overall emblem should retain a reflective appearance. Maybe not the original chrome look but something else.
My two pesos.....

Maybe the "eye of Sauron"...then you could say..."someone's keeping an eye on your car (or your hiney) at all times."
This could be un-nerving for those behind.

Well, you might want to tighten that up, lest you be mistaken for doing what is known in primate displays as "presenting".

Hey everyone.
Just finished putting the clears on the last of the first run of ponies. I want to apologize that its taken a bit longer to get to this point than I had anticipated..shoooting almost 70 of them is a little more difficult than shooting 2 or 3. Just moving them on and off the board to paint took a good bit more time than I thought but I wanted to make sure if you wanted a black base, you didnt get satin silver over-spray
Now I know what needs to be tweaked to make it a more flowing process for us and that process should get smoother ( and faster) as we continue to tweak it.
Look for some pics of the new one's sometime tonight... I just want to make sure their safe to move around...you want to see awesome custom ponies...not my fingerprints
I really want to thank everyone for the support , this has already surpassed what I thought it would be. My first order of factory pony's is already spoken for......more have been ordered today and are on the way! Hopefully by the end of next week we will be ready to start a run over again! I think the paypal invoicing system works well for us but I have had several people send checks to me for payment and I will continue to handle payment's in these ways.
Also , I have received several orders for ponys painted just in factory colors w/o flames. Those are 45.00 including shipping and we are doing all factory colors on new factory ford parts.I also have a pretty good size 99 to 04 pony order coming so when you get your and feel like showing it off...show those 04 and below guys too.....they need cool stuff too!
Again , I cant even begin to thank everyone for the support I have received here but I would like to offer a special thank you to SRQ05GT...if it wasnt for him noticing my pony in my grill in a post I made and asking about it, this never would have got to where it is now....and its only going to get better..thanks Jeff!!!!
thanks again everyone!!!
