Bill, it is really simple to pop off the front, and it made accessing the pins and pony easy. Anyone who is doing this should do the same. It took less than 15 min and simplified the install. And as posted previously it gives you a chance to clean bugs and other stuff from the radiator.

I am planning on installing a Paxton SC this winter so its part of the learning curve for the "Mother Of Al Projects".

Yeah, I've had the complete front end off mine when I converted to the Roush fascia......I think my main deal w/ the pony was I was so excited to get it in , I just did it the way I "thought" would be the "quickest"....LOL. Popping the grill out probably was the quickest way to go by the time I had my arm poked behind the grill popping off those pony fastners ;-)

thanks !!!! Yeah, the response has been awesome ......were going to work on doing the rear badge on mine this week , have had several request to do that to match the pony up front........Hopefully will be able to get pics up of that by weeks end.........plenum covers, strut tower bars, valve covers, a lot of great ideas are coming in.....keep those ideas coming and we will play around and see if we can make em work!!!!

Just an update for everyone......just opened a box FULL of brand new, sparkling chrome ( not for very long ;-) 05 ponies. Getting started media-blasting tonight , then hopefully the touch-up sanding, adhesion promoter and priming will be done by the end of the weekend. We should start shooting color monday afternoon . I will try to get the pay-pal invoices out Sunday evening to everyone on the "list" . We still believe everyone will receive their pony within 10 days of payment of their order. We want to be really sure we are sending parts that are safe to pack in regards to having had enough drying time.
