I think those have some sort or clear sheild over it ...is that right? yes.
the airfilter cover is currently painted for blue.
then the emblem is not pratical to do...something that old would never look right because taking off that shield would make it "different" and when wewould try to get it back on there would be flaws in the underside sealing wiht the airbrushed surface......the air cleaner lid....no problem at all.

Those are awesome! If you could make some that were still chrome ponies with flames- I'm sold
yeah that would be cool and we could do it....my problem is I want it to last as long as the car does.....painting over chrome would probably blow off.....its just a matter of how fast you have to get it up to to say bye-bye.....LOL!!! I have not used any primer that has the endurance I'm looking for on these.

Well I guess the secret is out.. I saw these on Bills post on the "front end thread" or something to that effect. Well, I thought it was by far the best looking Pony i had ever seen. So we began to communicate via email. I think i will be Bills first offical customer and mine should be here on Friday. I believe it is the bottom one of the two in the opening post. Compare bills with:[attachmentid=37116][attachmentid=37118]

My personal opinion is this is way cool!!!
Cant want to get it on my GT. Will do new thread with the install this week!!!!

Brad, this would look great on the front of the Mustang Source Horse....jmo

Keep in mind when looking at the pics I havev posted , these are the real flame colors. We can do any color flames over black base ( which I personally thinkm works better with the black grill OR we can do all factory base colors then the real flames or any combination thereof. I have an order for a black base with the lime green flames with a little white and silver for accents....that one should really look cool!!!

Hey Bill,

Hey David......get the springs on yet? When you get it lowered I want to see some pics!!! These cars look so much better with a little air out from under them.

The pricing is not firm yet but they should come in around 105.00 give or take 5 bucks or so for adjustments on shipping ( trying to get packaging perfected now). I have a large pony emblem order coming over the next couple weeks......If your interested , email me at hireman356@aol.com that will get you on the list. When the ponies arrive I will email you a pay-pal invoice, once paid yours goes to get painted. I dont want any chance of peeling so heres the steps we are using. When we get the ponies ( factory parts)I bead-blast off the factory chrome off. Then sand really smooth, apply adhesion promoter, then self etching primer. Then we do the basecoat, apply the flames in candies and pearls , then two coats of clear. As you can see, its quite a process to get it right. I look at these as being different , like the ultimate pedals are far superior to UPR or Steeda. There will never be any two the same as they are all hand airbrushed. Also the above estimated price includes USPS priority shipping w/ delivery confirm number, their wrapped in bubble wrap then either going to be packed in a box with the styro-foam peanuts or put in a bubble envelope for shipping. As I have told everyone so far , the color choices are wide open but I believe certain things would work best for everyone no matter the colors of the flames they choose. One is a black base....I feel it helps smooth the transition out between the grill and the color on the ponies....but thats just my personal opinion. Also, I have recieved a request or two for something "evil"....look for a pic , hopefully this weekend of a flaming pony skeleton in red candies and pearls on a black base....that one should be killer. Its going to be done on a 04 emblem because thats all we have right now...LOL. That type of work will be a little more costly because of the time involved , but the 05 emblem lends itself to more detail simply because of its size.

thanks for the interest!!!

Those flaming ponies are awesome. I'd buy a set if you decide to sell.
