Need some tire advice

I am going to buy some new wheels, from Wheel HQ, their deep dish bullitt chrome wheels 18x9.

I went looking at tires, I'm looking for smooth, quiet ride, good wet traction, not interested in racing or track. I think I want 255/45-18 for size, either Z or W rated. Budget, It looks like a good tire will cost me $240 a tire or so.Anything less is gravy.

I went to local tires shops so I can get road hazard Warranty, and life time rotation balance. One thing I found out is I can buy tires from TireRack.com and have them sent to local Firestone dealer, and still get road hazard etc.

Tires I was offered: Bridgestone Potenza RE040 233/45-18, not real impressed with these, they are OEM on some cars and reviews were fair to poor,
Cooper Zeon Sport 255/45-18 better reviews, not bad but not impressed.
Nitto 555 255/45-18 Not sure about these tires, sort wondering why they are so cheap, $147.99 a piece?
Michelin Pilot Sport 255/45/-18 I have had many Michelins on other cars through the years and have always loved the smooth, quiet, ride. These tires have excellent reviews also.Of course these are the higher priced tires, $230.00 ea, but that's about what I expected to pay for good tires.
So any suggestions would help, the 255/45-18 size is just a start, any other sizes I should look at?

I have Stack Racing 18x9 2010 GT Anthracite wheels mounted on BFG G-Force T/A KDWS 235/50ZR/18's , These BFGoodrich's are a great all around tire , IMO

KDWS is the stock tire for 18" wheels. They are smooth, quiet, decent handling and driveable in the rain. Obviously a good price on this tire. I would stay away from Goodyears. All the tires I have run got loud right away. I like anything BFGoodrich or Michelin. I believe Michelin owns both companies.

Maybe all season type such as Michelin Pilot Sport AS/Plus or Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS, very good reviews for both on ride, noise, and wet traction.

I paid $186 a tire with lifetime warranty for the BFG gForce T/A KWD NT in 255/45/18. It looks super aggressive but has a great ride and awesome grip. It rained for four days straight in Las Vegas where I live, and I never once loss traction during acceleration or turning. They are a little bit noisy compared to the KDWS that came with the car, but not anything obnoxious for a DD.

I really like these.
