Certainly all exterior mods are a matter of taste, but I like having an "insert" more than a "cover". The mirrors are so big that painting or covering the whole thing with a painted piece wouldn't do as much visually as these do. It's like how the GT500 has flat black rocker panels and rear diffuser to remove visual weight from the car--these do the same thing.

[*]They are painted with the factory colors and are not adjacent to the other painted panels on the car, so even a slight difference in color won't be noticable.[/list]

It would be easy to do... some company just take off the stock mirrors and use the trainagular base that mounts to the door as a template and make a flat piece to fit in it's place. Glass would be cool, but plastic would work.

I was thinking $60-65/set. Having them pre-painted is a huge convenience.

If this is the price, count me in.. What about shipping?
Windveil Blue of course..
