Lowered stangs and oil changes

As it stands, with a CDC classic chin spoiler I barely clear my rhino ramps for oil changes. What tricks do you guys use to make it up ramps like this?

Also, I'd be terrified to take it to the dealer for service of any kind, fearing they'd just drive up the ramps there and tear off the chin spoiler.

Are my fears unfounded? Some Steeda Ultralites are in my future, so just trying to figure this out ahead of time.

Change it yourself?

Lots of shops have wells also that you drive over and the tech can just walk downstairs under the car. Mine is lowered AND has the Cervini's side exhaust and I still fit over wells. I have 3" clearance at the bottom of the pipe for the exhaust, you'll still have plenty of room if you're just lowered and no side exhaust.

I just said I barely clear my rhino ramps for oil changes as it is. MY ramps, as in the ramps I use to change the oil myself.

I put a 2' long 2x10 in front of each front tire and drive up on that. Gives me just enough room to get the floor jack under the car.

That's a good idea right there, looks like I'll need to do a trip to the lumberyard.

See if they have any scraps they'll either give you or sell cheap

I picked up two 2'x4'x1/4" sheets of plywood. I then tacked a 2x4x2' on on one end of them and and another 1'x2'x3/4" piece of plywood on the opposite end , I probably should have used 3/4" for the two sheets too for more clearance. The ramps then fit on the sheets of plywood between the 2x4 and stacked plywood. I pull the car onto the end that has the stacked plywood and center the ramps on the wheels. The weight of the car holds the plywood sheets in place and the 2x4 on the opposite end stops the ramps from sliding as I pull on ...

I've already travelled down this path...

I have the Steeda Ultralites, CDC Classic chin spoiler and Rhino ramps.

A couple pieces of 2x4 work just fine for me.

btw- That's my special 'Anti-Slip' mat (aka. roof shingle) that my Rhino's are sitting on.
