Louver replacement for quarter window glass

I won't hold it against you - I'll just adjust the price accordingly
Seriously - my wife's family is all Boston fans - family dinners are "fun" to say the least !!
Speaking of Bullits though, I guess we'll need to add those colors into the mix, although its hard to justify until we start getting requests for the 08 colors (nobody has asked for them yet).
Ok, back to it - we need to get the A/C ***** released before the next show next week...

OK, i'm def going to order them pre painted, now another question. I got a horrible feeling that if I try to install these myself, I will scrathc my paint or screw somethign else up somehow, so I want to have a shop do it. Who has had a shop do this for them and what was the cost about? The local bodyshop that I would normally use gave me a serprisingly high quote IMO.

im doing them myself..... im a big diy-er so as long as it doesnt involve anything too high tech or way out of my league i will try to tackle it.
this doesnt seem like it should be too hard, just taking out a window and putting in a new one.

Nate,
You're on the short list at this point, just need to get it inspected and cleaned up to send out to you. Unfortunately, since I am the one who still does these, and I am leaving for a show for our sponsors tomorrow, I do not know if they will make it out before the end of the week, or if they will go early next week.
HTH.

I think the urethane's directions call out not below 60 during install, although I don't remember off the top of my head... hold on...
Ok, consulting the handy-dandy chart here:
http://www.silverhorseracing.com/Ins...cal%20data.pdf
It shows below 40 to use another compound, but at that temperature, your cure time will be measured in years, not hours... best advice is to do it in a heated garage or wait for good weather.
Nate - Torch Reds are boxed and labeled, leaving tomorrow for you.

got mine delivered today!!! wooot
also got the garage heated up and got them installed. man they look good.
man that tube of sealer was a pain in the ***!!!!! it took me and my dad to use it, i squeezed the trigger, he aimed the goop!
gonna let them setup over night and then put the interior in tomorrow.
by far an easy install, definately a do it yourselfer, hardest part was getting the darn old windows out.
i will get some photos up asap

Sweet.
One little tip that I don't think's been mentioned. Rubber disposable gloves are your friend, so is a roll of paper towels, especially if you're doing this for the first time.
