bump...
wow- 1703 posts on SHR's original louvers thread...and not a post in over a year
to those of you with SHR's, after a year or three, do you still like them?
I know mine are still everything I wanted in a set and more...eventually plan on putting them in the other 2 also no regrets here for sure! I still think these are the single biggest 'look change' for the better you can do to these cars...I like the look of a lot of the others too, but for me these flushmounts just looked like they shoulda came that way... I wouldnt be suprised if J.Mays and Hau Tai-Tang have sets on their cars too
wonder if this is the longest thread at TMS? bet its in the top ten anyways

No problems and I was also one who was part of the pre-order. Great mod for sure. I don't know if it's the single biggest appearance changing mod (but it's up there), but it is definitely the biggest appearance changing mod for the money. I've got NO issues with these and consider these a must-have.
Thanks again SHR.

I forgot about the lost posts from the forum crash...still, bet this is one of the biggest threads on the site
I got mine on Feb 15th '07, had them painted and in 2 days later...think it was like the third installed from the preorders...anticipation waiting for these was tough- just knew from the pics they were going to be awesome...loved the look then, still do- the folks at SHR really got a eye for Musang lines

LOL, thanks everyone!
We were away at SEMA so I'm just getting back to posting and stuff, but here's one from the show we are proud of - it's Darcy in front of Ford's 2010 SEMA Show Cobra Jet, painted in silver rather than the regular white that production cars will be painted. She is who polished the set on the car, so we thought it was cool to get a picture of her with the car once it was finished. I've got some more, but it's been a long first week back

reviving a huge old thread
Marcello,
saw the 10 cobrajet pics Brad put up, and the car looks great- just got to wondering- if the CJ comes standard with your louvers, does that mean they also carry a Ford part number now?
they SHOULD, and if so, why not a available dealer installed option? they show aftermarket louvers in the 09 brochure, but not SHRs... still the single biggest improvement lookswise IMO for these cars, not including wheels...wish they all had these

Tim.... Ford Racing has them listed, but currently they do not have a regular production number. There is a big difference between Ford Racing and Ford corporate for production purposes though (approvals, certifications, cost containments, etc).
That said, Shhhh....
That's all I can say in public right now
