I'm reading it picturing the look on his face as he typed it, that I made a funny look. But anyway how is your partner gonna bag his stang? Air ride suspension or something else?

I have never liked the black rims... So, I gotta go with a no thanks on that... also never a fan of the chrome 22"s. I like the size, but I cant say I am loving yours Mike. I think the spoke pattern is too far apart?? I dunno... I love Stars, so I should be in love with your rims, LOL! Dont know why its not sitting well with me...

Defintely not a fan of the lowered satin silver you posted a pic of.

But, I am going to give you for being different, and sticking to your guns. Also for accepting constructive criticism (brakes) and not worrying about the others who can only spout negative junk.

Well i tell all you one thing i could care less what you think of my can and never will cuz i can bet you one thing I will park next to anyone at a show and break someone off. the wheels are not solid black they have chrome spokes that go on them but im not running them excpet for shows cuz i aint taken a chance of breaking them. Also if anyone wants to see the finished debut of my stang will be texas heatwave 05 in austin texas. You dont have to like it i did'nt do it for anyone but me. But since peeps are saying they dont like my car or his on 20s or 22s lets see some pics of your rides. Oh yeah any questions bagged00ranger@yahoo.com

I put 20's on mine and absolutly love them. I say to each their own, but I do agree that there are too many stangs out there with bullitt's and stripes.

Here is a link to my gallery:

I am with you guy's. Performance might be one thing but there is nothing like turning heads and show stoppin'. Don't get me wrong, I am all for adding more power, but you never go out without looking good.

There is an edit button to fix mistakes in your thread. No need to double post.

And you made a comment about you didn't do your car for anyone but you, then why are you taking it to shows? The shows you bring it to are general car shows, or tuner shows, I'm sure. And your car would be a big hit there. But, bring that car to a Mustang only show, and you will be thrown out, I guarantee you. 18"+ rims do not belong on a Mustang. And you will not find one true Mustang fan who disagrees with that statement. I just feel for the guys on this forum that are still waiting for their car. They could have gotten yours. You could have bought an import and slammed it with 22" wheels on it. Why a Mustang?

Let me tell you somthing i dont care if there is an edit button or not and to answer your question why a mustang because of people like you who think a mustang should only be built one way and i go to shows to be with people who love the same thing i do and who all give each other respect unlike some of the people that post in here. I will bring my car to a mustang show and any other show and i tell you somthing else dont you ever question me or tell me i should'nt have bought MY mustang i repeat MY mustang that I PAID FOR with MY MONEY. YEAH IM ROLLIN 20s on a stang and i hope you dont like it. You dont have to hate it cuz its not yours just respect it heck you dont have to respect it because i dont care so you can hate all you want with your 17 inch bullit wheels and your vinal stripes be original man dont hate on me or my boy because you cant come up with anything to be diffrent. be the norm i dont care
any questions feel free to e-mail me at bagged00ranger@yahoo.com

Take a chill pill, spiderman. I made the comment about the edit button because you are obviously new here and don't know how to edit your own post. Double-posting is frowned upon by moderators and others because it takes up space in the threads and some take advantage of it to rack up posts.

Don't question you? I will question you and comment on your car all I want. If you can't take the critisism, don't put up pictures of your car.

I can't come up with anything different? I have yet to see another member of this site with a mineral grey GT with black racing stripes. And if I do, it will be very rare. I surely won't see one in person ever. And yes, I have vinyl (not vinal) racing stripes. I will have them painted on eventually, but that's not the point. I also will be molding on a hood scoop from a '65 Shelby. In 20 years, I'll be one of 20 (if that) '05 Mustangs in existience with that setup. In 20 years, about a thousand '05 Mustangs will have 20"+ wheels and a two-tone paint scheme (one member of this site already has a two-tone '05 with yellow on top like yours). I have (and will continue to) added many cosmetic touches that makes my car unique, while still keeping it retro.

And by the way, I'll never respect a Mustang with 22" wheels. That's my right though. Everyone I know with Mustangs feels the same exact way as I do. A couple of them have much stronger feelings on this subject than me and would actually follow a Mustang with 22" wheels home and make sure that they weren't on it in the morning. I can knock your 22" wheels all day and night, bro. But you knocking bullitt wheels and Shelby stripes just makes yorself look like a fool. Why don't you take the pony off the grill and put a chrome spider on it (I don't want to be giving you ideas here) and then flame me for having a horse on my Mustang.

Well, then I guess I am not a true Mustang enthusiast, Ian. I thought the 3D car looked TIGHT with the 22's, and also the one offs that were 20"s. I am hoping my sponsor will come through so I can have the 20"s. If not, I am going to go with a much tamer set up, 18"s in the front and 19"s in the back.

I love what you have done to your car. I think your car looks sweet. You have done a fantastic job on it. But, I do think that stripes and flames are over done. Not that it doesnt look good, yours and Adrenalins are prolly my fav cars on this site. However, I am going with a much different paint scheme, avoiding stripes and flames at all costs.

I also think that maybe you might be generalizing what a true Mustang fan is. I know a lot of people who think an auto V8 is sacriledge, and anyone who would own one is just lame.

I have no problem with auto V8s, I have no problem with V6s. I believe a true Mustang fan loves all Mustangs, and doesnt put Gold spinning rims with 4 ft high wings on it. My definition of rice is all show no go. As long as youre not putting a Saleen kit on the outside of a V6, its all good in my book.

I am not trying to be a female dog, just think that sometimes those of us who love Mustangs need to accept some different mind sets into the fold a little more readily.

I say if you like it, cool, I'd rather see an ol' skool caddy with 22's, but its yo thing man, as long as you do it cuz you like, rather than cuz you seen a celeb with it... I've never thought much 'bout it so I dunno if I would put them on an 05 of mine or not...
