Hillbank Motorsports GFMI-ST1 Glass Hood

Hillbank Motorsports is proud to announce the release of the all-new GFM1-ST1 Glass Hood. This unique product allows 2005-2009 Ford Mustang owners to show off their engine bays even when the hood is closed, whether cruising down the boulevard or at a weekend car show. The kit utilizes the stock hood and high quality tempered glass and comes as a kit ($1,299.99) or as a complete hood assembly with the glass installed minus color match ($2,499.99). Notmy cup of tea. Maybe if the cutout wasn't so big.

That's kickass!

Question: How will the plastics under the hood holdup to the sunlight?

Tempered glass? That's gonna add some weight.

Interesting. But a little too pricey for my taste.

I can see someone buying that hood with an aftermarket strut tower brace and totally tossing the metal bar through the glass!

Hmmm... A little Hot Wheelsy. If you had 8 Weber downdrafts on a Cosworth V8, you might pull it off.

Interesting idea but what if your engine looked like this?
Sorry Paul, I couldn't resist showing everyone your dirty engine bay.

Why "too bad"?

I like it, but that price is a little steep. Maybe after the Kenne Bell is in

It certainly brings the bling. Not my cup of tea, but for a show car it would be pretty slick if the engine was worthy of viewing.
