Hid & DRL
Hello everyone,
I have a question to ask, i try to find a solution to be make my front lights more efficient.
The soluce seems to be the HID conversion kits, but my car does have the DRL, so i wonder how it will work with the HID witch is not able to work at 70% of its power, it's on or off.
Thanks in advance .

These mustangs do not have a DRL fuse.
The DRLs on these cars are run through pulse width modulation, all that is needed to make an HID kit work without any issues, is a proper relay harness. My car has DRL, and I recently did a bi-xenon fx-r projector retrofit with some after market headlights, I suggest you go this route as well, it may be a bit more expensive, but you will not be blinding people with the horrible glare of a plug and play kit, plus you get amazing light distribution with a sharp cutoff.
Check out the following website for lots of information regarding projector retrofits and other lighting goodness.
