It's to prevent glare coming directly off the bulb when you're not in the direct beam of the headlight. The bulb shield is not really needed, since the tip of H13 halogen bulbs are painted to give you the same glare protection.

Interesting, I tried to order some H13 from VVME this morning and I keep getting invalid email error even though I'm typing in my email correctly.

What was shipping now that the price is down to $96.00?

I'll try again later as I suspect its an application error, or I hope thats what it is.

you have to cut the headlight connector off and splice the wires. I got it worknig. The high/low beams worked for aproximately 10 minutes, now when i click over to the high beams, i hear it click, but the lights dont goto high beams. they stay on low beams. Any ideas?

Also i bought the H10 kit to do the fog lights but they arent working at all. any ideas on this?
