Actually you need to pull alongside a row of parked cars and see how far it goes without going above the door line. Although the more blue the light is the more it will glare regardless of how its aimed.

I will later tonight, let's just say with the windshield and foglights tinted. The stock headlights weren't good enough, my girlfriend has a IS300 and her lights light up the whole interstate so these were a must!

X5... yeah, contact on ebay would be great. Also, why did you go with a 8000 vs. a 6000? and is it bi-xenon?

I have a set available if anyone is interested. I ended up going for a bi-xenon set. I also have a set of projectors for a GT with the hi/lo lenses mounted side by side.

ooooo. Blue Lights !! Looking good! I would do HIDs but since I am blind as a bat at night and don't drive after the sun goes down it would be a waste of money.

I think that looks great, that kelvin rating is a little to higher for me. I would prefer to go with 4300K with a projector set-up. I'm in the process of deciding what path to take. Anyways nice set

The blue looks cool! It matches your ride!

2k5GTC: A set of HID lights would go a long way toward helping you see at night. Pardon the pun, but it's "night and day" difference.

8000k is a bit high for me, and 4300k is a bit too white (Saleens come with 4300k). I am liking the 6000k like I have in my foglights. I'm going to retrofit my Saleens with 6000k as soon as I can afford it. WTH, I can't damage them any more than they already are right?

Check out this set, this guy sells thousands of them. Bi-xenon via a solenoid that tilts the bulb ala Saleen so no quad balasts. Looks just like the american muscle setup. Price is right too.

now 6000 or 8000

I think I'm going 6000.

Edit: what the heck-ordered. Full review with the photos nobody ever takes of them when I get them-including full beam pattern over distance and glare check from other cars.
