My camera won't even come close to showing how far out it will go, I tried it inside and out of the car. At my bro's place there is a stop sign nearly 1/3 mile down the road and it lights it up the instant I straighten out of his driveway. In the pics you can barely see the next house down.

Perhaps you should look again. Although not perfect pictures, I think it is obvious that the HIDs light up the street and the sign / mailbox much better.

It was a joke. Lighten up. I'm all up for HIDs, and I will eventually do them.

Does the Price on VVME include shipping or is that extra? Would their single Beam Xenon kit work for the GT's fogs? TIA

Also the 4300k , 6000k, etc , is that base on the housing or just the bulb?

Temperature, which means it affects the color output (and visibility as well). The higher the number, less visibility and the colors go as follow: pure white/light blue/deeper blue/purple/aqua green

You really should stay with one of those two temperatures. 4300k for the brightest, whitest light, 6000k for a bit of blue stylin' but still effective lighting.

As asked above, how workable/ effective would using the single beam be for the foglights?

Gut feeling-I would say if you want a guaranteed good product and don't want to take any chances, spend the extra money and go with the stangmods(#1 choice) or americanmuscle setups. I haven't even gotten mine in and I'm already thinking 'ugh'....I'll feel lucky if it goes ok. Gotta stop shopping at 3am

If you feel like doing ebay, this is the guy I was thinking of buying from just after I paid for the other set, feedback is insane. Have no experience with them either though.

I just ordered this Kit from the guy you suggested above. After they come I will compared them with the VVME kit that I also ordered for the Fogs. Maybe I can do a write up and take some pictures to compare the two. Also the german kit looks promising because of the metal to block out some glare.

the $175 included shipping - both beams hi and low -but no fogs. I went with 4300 (best performance) I suppose the single beam might work with the fogs, but I don't know - the fog bulb is different than the main headlights (H13)

I doubt that it would work, but you can contact the manufacture and ask them about it. They usually give you some BS like " We haven't tested it yet so we don't know" which means it doesn't work.

I actually looked at the manufacturers specs and it states the single beam model would work with the H1 style bulb which is what the above uses. Call me rice, but I might just go for it. The only down side is that it appears there are two individual bulbs with that headlight for brights and regular beam, which means you would need to buy two individual single beam HID kits for each headlight housing. If I did it I would probably use the HIDs for the regular beam only.

HU!??!

Most cars that have HIDs, when they use the high beams, is not another HID bulb, it's a halogen bulb, so you should be ok with using just a single beam, one kit, and keep the other one halogen.
