John,

How much did that wheel/tire combo set you back? I am considering a similar upgrade when my 2005 GT comes in

By the way, looks phenomenal
Hey Steve. I hope you are sitting down, well, you are at a computer so I guess you are. I ordered them in the states since I am only 20 minutes from the border and picked them up so I wouldn't pay shipping. By the time it was all said and done the cost is just under $4,600.00 with the center spinners. I should have bought them when the canadian dollar was better.

Abso-friggin-lutely gorgeous.........

I love it - the springs, the 18 Bullits and the BFGS..... exactly the setup I have wanted to go with for a while and looks just as good as I had hoped!!!

Don;t think I can afford custom wheels so I have to be patient and wait for 18 Bullits to come out at Mustang Tuning or one of the other sites... Aaargghh!!!

I have always wanted to put custom wheels on my cars but never had. Since I saw the concept car I knew what I wanted way before FORD even produced this car. I am just glad my dream is slowly coming together. Well the sun is out, time to go for a cruise.

I know. I thought about different things I could do with the cash but when it comes down to it, I am very happy that I bought them. Really makes the car look more aggressive and wider at the bottom so when I install the 1/4 window louvers they won't look out of place.

Well I definately need to get an alignment but for some crazy reason nobody around here other than FORD can do the alignment. Interesting to see what they say about it being lowered. After lowering it the alignment didn't seem off, still pulled slightly to the right. Now with the wider tires the car pulls to the left.

Just a little FYI for the rest of you that may be doing the same thing.

Mine pulled right too. Took it in and they said the alignment was fine. They swapped the front wheels and tires and now the car drives for forever in a straight line. They said the tires had a a defect which caused the right pull. just fyi

See I keep telling my wife that but she just doesn't believe me. She says we need to save all of our money for when we retire. I say as long as I keep doing what I am doing I won't live long enough to retire anyway.

LOL.....wives are an entirely different animal....their logic is either geared toward ultra spending (i.e. Louis Vitton purses etc.) or ultra conservativism (thoughts of retirement funds)....weird how they are wired up huh? LOL I think men are in between and have it right....just don't try telling them that....Good luck with Mrs. Adrenalin and beware the finger waving :nono:
