Fang Performance Chin Spoiler
Okay, my buddy had to hold the spoiler instead of the camera, but here are some before / after shots, and the primered / painted spoiler... Enjoy (I certainly do!!!) Never thought it would make such a difference, but I just looove the look!!
I got the primer and paint at Home Depot... First bigger thing I ever painted, really glad it turned out looking this good - the paint matches the side rockers perfectly...
Reg. Install:
just a little summary of what I experienced during the install... The install itself is pretty straight-forward, but I found it easier to hold it in place so it is flush with the wheelhouses on both sides.
Note: Use working / rubber gloves, as the spoiler is only roughly finished underneath, and the splinters are hard to get out of your fingers... (believe me...
)
Just take a Sharpie to mark where the first two holes will be (or scratch it lightly with the drill as a sharpie most likely won't work on a black / alloy car
). Once the first two holes are drilled, just put the spoiler on the box it came in for support and attach the sides. (I found it easier to jack the front up at one side at a time so I could get the drill underneath it.)
When it has been attached at the sides, just push it up to where it should be and mark the remaining 4 holes (in my case, I just held it in place and drilled through the holes directly into the bumper).
Then just attach the screws and tighten them and - voila - you're done already!

If I install the chin spoiler now, it will eventually scatch when I drive off.
