Just received notice that my chin spoiler has been shipped!!!

 

Not fair... you order after me and I haven't received the notice yet...

 

Fang chin spoiler arrived yesterday evening.
Now I need to paint the thing.

 

I just talked to the owner of Fang Performance and his brother at a Show and Shine. They are still in business. You are probaly thinking of the Dream Car Factory, they are out of business.

 

Nope I was thinking of Fang. The guy who owns it is actually local to me, and is an Orthodontist like my wife. I've actually talked with him, and best of all, seen his twin turbo '05 GT. It is freaking sweet.

Anyway, I was told by a mutual friend that he had decided to put the business to bed. Maybe he decided to keep it alive after all. I'll have to give him a call to confirm.

If he's still in business, I might have to give him a hand do a little better job of promoting. They have some great products, but I think they're struggling to sell enough to make it worthwhile.

Thanks for the heads up. Where was the Show and Shine you saw them at. Must be somewhere in Northern Indiana (maybe Ft. Wayne). I'm in South Bend.

 

That's too bad if they are going out of business. I really liked their stuff, but I decided to go with a GT 350 theme rather than a 69-70 Mach 1 theme.

 

He just put the Mystery 8 package on the site and joined the Mustang collective as a vendor. It would be shocking if he did go out, His products are really nice and different from the ordinary.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. It does look like they're making updates to the website. It went many months with no updates, so this is good news.

The Show and Shine was in Elkhart at Z-Ford. Michiana Mustang Club. They bought 3 Fang Mustangs. They owner had a Yellow one but I don't remember it being twin turbo just remember the single Vortech. I asked him about the new Hood he had on the yellow one but he say it probably would take a good Body shop to make it fit on my GT/CS.

The black w/ silver stripes is the twin turbo. He's got custom seats with silver carbon fiber looking inserts in them too. It's pretty slick.

 

How is the paintjob coming along? Still haven't received shipping notice, I'm starting to get worried now... If I haven't heard from them by tomorrow, I will call them up...

 

I haven't had the time to paint it. It's finals week.
