Not sure of the material other than it's the same as vinyl stripe in Flat Black. They did not have to take the chrome piece off in the rear for the stripe.

 

I couldn't find my receipt for the exact part# :scratch: , but I just called and ask for the Chrome 17x8 Bullits. I'll do some digging

Kevin - LOOKS GREAT!! I noticed you have exhaust too - which did you go with? Those are the exact wheel I'm looking for - except in an 18"! Are they cast or steel wheels? And about offset - how did you decide which offset was the best for the '05 - or do the rims only come in one offset? Sorry for the 20 questions - just want to be sure I get the right wheels/tires for my Stang. Nothing worse than aftermaket rims that compromise ride quality.

HOTLAP, the exhaust is the JBA Axle Back (See my review in an earlier post). I believe the wheels are cast and the offset was just one option (that I know of) in the 29.5mm. I wast trying to find some of the prior years wheels that would still work with the 05 stangs -- saved money and liked the looks. Hope that helps

 

I talked to www.wheelreplicas.com, and they said they would stick out no more than 1/4 of an inch.

 

Kevin, the car looks fantastic. Check your camera though, the Torch looks orange in the pics? I doubt it looks THAT orange even for Torch.

Man, this has got me thinking about 18" chrome bullitts/torque thrusts @ 255 wide. Someone put these on already!!
