They're a little too far apart IMO.
And it would amazing w/o that chin spoiler.
Otherwise,

agreed, I did not do them to exact specifications, I was just trying to get a feel for the 50resto center fog light grill with my stripe job....
Also I didnt think the Stock grill looked that great, with the two fogs in the center it just needed a little something more and I thought the roush fascia set it off nicely...

I love the Roush front fascia (w/o the chin spoiler) and I agree it looks GREAT with that grille.
I would do that exact setup but I don't want 6 lights on the front of my car.
I think it would be best described as a cross between rice and redneck to have that many lights up there. JMO.

I agree, too many lights in front would make it kinda look like rice IMO.

I got a question for you all. I was looking at this grill with the fog lights in the center, someone says they want them to complete thier Shelby tribute, and I thought , yeah Shelby fog lights were in the middle. But then I went to the time line, looked at the 67 Shelby pics there and I see some of the 67 Shelby's fog lights in the middle and others out to the sides like our 05. I guess I never rreally noticed that.

So my question is why do some of the 67 Shelby's have the fog lights in the middle while others are out to the sides? Was there an option as to where you wanted them or what? And yeah I agree with you all the fogs will look good in the middle, but then I like mine where they are also, so I guess its just another matter of choice. Decisions, decisions.

Certain states did not allow center fogs , so ford had to move them to the outside edge I beleive was the reason for that.

IMO the chop looks great for the most part but just being a little picky it looks to me the right fog light is off center which throws off the cemetry a bit. Sorry for nagging, I guess I have too much time on my hands today. Looks good though.

BTW, there is no chin spoiler on this car, the black underneath is a shadow.....guess I should have chopped that out too. ;-)

The fog lights in that photochop aren't scaled exactly right... they would actually be a tiny bit closer together. But IMO the fogs on the plastic grille are spaced too far apart anyway. The ones on the Street Scene grille are much closer to being historically correct. At first glance, both grilles look to have them spaced almost the same, but that 1" difference is pretty big. That's the main reason I bought it, besides not being able to wait until April.

I believe I'm the one you are referring to that said I wanted this grille to complete my '67 Shelby tribute. As Donnie stated, it was because of legal reasons at the time that some had them centered and others didn't. For my '67 tribute, I could just leave the fogs where they are and it would still "work", but I much prefer the fogs centered.

Im wondering, can you install the roush front fascia without the chin spoiler?

Looking at the instructions, it looks like you have to install it as it becomes the new close out panel. So I guess is it even possible to do this without the chin spoiler?

It's been a long week, so forgive my memory... someone has the Roush front fascia without the chin spoiler. So it can be done. Maybe it will come to me after a couple more beers.

Man, that was quick... didn't even drink half a beer before it came to me. I believe it's the member "hireman" who paints the true fire. Here is a pic of his car.

Yes it is. In fact, if your order the Roush fascia, the chin spoiler doesn't come with it. You have to order it seperately. The pic I posted above doesn't have the spoiler. I'll see if I can find the rest of the original, unmolested pics.

EDIT: Here are the rest of the pics.

And the thumbnail below is that same picture before it was chopped.

New idea I had for my car....

I brought the lights closer together and put in a 1967 GT350 Grille Emblem

Also I did notice that according to pics, the 67GT350-500 did have small fogs under the regular headlights.
