I have an update. Half good news, half bad news. I'll start with the bad news... I was hoping that the regular 18x9's and the deep lip 18x9's would match enough to have just the deep lip in the rear. But, Bob at mustangtuning.com sent me an e-mail with pics of the two and they are not even close. First of all, they are made by 2 different companies.

Here are the differences:

- The curvature of the spokes (the regular lip wheel spokes are more rounded like the '05 bullitts, while the deeper lip wheels have a sharper line in the middle of the spokes like the previous bullitts)
- The shape of the edge of the lip (one is rounded and the other is flat)
- Where the powdercoating ends (one ends halfway through the valve stem hole while the other stops before it)
- Where the spokes meet the middle of the wheel (one goes straight, the other flares out)
- The center cap

So, getting a pair of each won't work, it seems.

Now, for the good news... Bob said that 'Verde Topline' (the company that makes the 18x9 deep dish bullitts on his site) will be coming out with an 18x10 deep dish in just a couple days. Now, he hasn't e-mailed me back yet to let me know if they match. He may not even know until they get in. But, why wouldn't they if they are made by the same company? They will be close enough I'm sure. I asked him if he will sell them in pairs. But at the very least, two people can put in and buy a set of each, and I'm sure they'll ship a pair of each to each person.

I'll attach the pics Bob sent me comparing the 18x9 regular bullitts and the 18x9 deep dish bullitts. You can see they are different in many ways. And Bob says it's even worse in person.

Here are separate pics of each wheel, a little closer. The one on the left is the 'Wheel Replicas' 18x9 bullitt with regular lip, and the one on the right is the 'Verde Topline' 18x9 deep dish bullitt.

All system's go!!! I picked up a pair of 5/16 th in. spacer's and they worked perfect. The front tire is almost flush with the fender well, but do not stick out more than the rear. She hook's up now!!

They need to change their wheels so you won't have to buy spacers. It should just be able to be mounted and go..the wheels look good but after hearing i would have to buy spacers turned me the other direction.

Justin... the wheels look great. And the spacer thing ain't a big deal. 5/16" is the thickness of a #2 pencil. It's nothing you are gonna see. I think though after seeing the Dark Knight II's 18x9 regular bullitts, I'm gonna have to go with that setup. No deep dish wheels for me. But they look killer on your stang.

To bad they doint match but now im looking forward to the 10" ones in the next few days. Justin glad to hear the spacers made them fit. So is it safe to say you couldnt upgrade the brakes with those rims?

I'm sure it's going to be near impossible to make 10" wide "deep dish" wheels for the '05 with the offset being so low.
Not necessarily true. I have 18x10's on mine. They are not considered "deep dish" because of the step but they do go back 2.5" from the rim to the spokes. Deep dish I believe are 3". Tough part will be clearing the brakes since mine barely do this.

I just got an e-mail from Bob at mustangtuning.com and the 18x10's are now available. They are sold in a set of 4... with 2 18x9's and 2 18x10's. This looks like a sweet setup. Someone please order a set so I can see them installed.

Nice! What color did you get? And what width/brand tires are you going with?
