18x9 = 18" in diameter, 9" lip.

Therefore, 18x10 = 18" in diameter, 10" lip.

So yes, the rear wheels do have a larger lip.

And then there's backspacing, might want to check out discounttiredirect.com or tirerack for some information on wheel sizing.
When they say ie. 18X9 they don't mean it has a 9" lip, but it's a 9" wide rim. This is for any rim, deepdish or not. FYI
Just setting it straight, not barking at anyone

255/45 for the front and 285/40 for the back...had it aligned today also...didnt need the camber adjusters and it handles so much betternow it is really tight.
I don't see that they make a 285/40 for an 18" wheel in the NT-555.

Am I missing something?

Can't you adjust the speedo for bigger tires using either the Diablosport or Xcal tuners?

adnlyn,
Can you tell me how close the color of the anthracite mustangtuning deep dish bullitts match the color of the stock bullitts. On their website, they look darker and on your pics, they look lighter. Just curious.

That's ok, I just didn't want them to be any darker than the stock's. I can't decide between the anthracite or chrome.

i'd say anthracite on a sonic blue. meaner look. besides, chrome rims are very heavy. listen to what your gut tells you. get what you want. it's your car.
