how come nobody ever talks about these louvers

I wonder the same thing. The MRT Interceptor 1/4 vents look better (in my opinion) and are the most like the 65-66 vents. Take a good look at the other louvers and you'll see that they may resemble the 74-78 Mustang II quite a bit, but not so much the classic fastback.

CDC made the side louvers on Pauls Performance stang and I like them the best, however, they are not the ones that CDC is selling to the public. I have no idea why because they are the ones I like the best, even better than the ones on the MRT. I have already contact CDC to order them and was told they are not making them

Here's info on the 3dcarbon louvers from their customer service:

Thanks for your inquiry.

We are taking pre-orders for the product now with an expected shipping time of late-February. The louvers sell for $149.00 for the pair. If you pre-order the louvers by Jan. 15th, I will give you a special price of $119.20.

We will not take a payment until the product is ready to ship.

i like these better. kinda remind me of the concept car.

*edit:

also, anyone have thoughts on visibility in your blind spots with these windows covered? i know you can't see much out the drivers side as is, but the passenger side offers good visibility. do you think this will have a negative impact on what you can see?

As far as louvers go I really like these... I'm still waiting to see some scoops that really get my attention. I'm usually not one to buy the first product on the market but I might just go ahead and order the louvers. At $185 unpainted it's not a bad deal.

I think the MRT louvers were a custom fab job so i dunno if youll see those exact louvers on sale (i could be wrong though)

other than that, ide def say the 3DCarbon louvers are the best

adrenalin, I emailed Paul's High performance directly about the louvers on their SEMA car -- They emailed me back & told me that they are taking orders -- the louvers are roughly $185 unpainted.

Yes, $189 + S&H. Yes we can take your order – but you have to paint them to match. C-Pillar scoops have a hard mount system that connects to the window.

I am inquiring about the qtr panel window louvers that were on your 2005 Mustang at the SEMA show. Are those available for order? If so, what is the cost? Do they come painted? How are they installed? Any information that you can provide would be helpful.

Regards,

I believe the interceptor uses the CDC vents like the Paul's car does. (Remember that the interceptor also has the CDC glass roof?) I thought CDC was going to offer both the scoops, and the vents.

Yea im thinking your right Blake. I just figured that since all the other body work was custom the louvers would be too (on the MRT)

Okay then, MRT looks best to me. We need them to make those pieces so we can buy them.
