I've changed out the headlight bulbs on my last 2 rides and have had good luck wiht the Sylvania Silverstars. The are about 15% brighter and a much whiter light than stock. They are also the same wattage as stock - so you don't have to worry about overloads or melting the lenses. Trouble is nowhere I've looked carries the 9008 or the fog light replacement (in SilverStars) for our '05 Stangs.....anyone solve this yet?

Oh, and you want to do both the fogs and headlights at the same time - cause the new SilverStars are going to be quite a bit whiter than stock.

I have a supplier that said they expect high output bulbs soon. Not sure if they will be Silverstars. Will post when I hear.

Interesting - so the 9008 is considered a "high output" bulb?

I guess I did not explain myself correctly. They will have a high output bulb, more wattage. I think the 9008 is also a H-13.

Here is my post on the conversion I did. The suppliers info is at the end of the long post.
