If OKC could have afforded to offer him a maximum contract, he would still be on the Thunder.

It's hilarious, that the new CBA all these small market teams pushed for is now hindering them from building superstar studded teams lol.

Miami will most likely win again, and the large market teams will still hold the title at the end of the day. LOLZ

A superstar is not necessary to have good results.
Look at teams like Indiana, Memphis, Denver and even Golden State. They all have a best player, but none of them have a superstar.

I can't wait til a small market team comes out of no where and kicks the crap out of a star studded team.
I think golden state and Memphis are doing just that.

Looks like Paul Pierce might be leaving Boston.

I agree. But that's not what the owners said during the lockout. They claimed they wanted parody (but all they wanted was more $$ from large market teams)

BTW, GS does have a superstar. He wears #30

Why? Your favorite team is considered large market.

Golden State is IMO as well

Stephen Curry is really good, but I wouldn't call him a superstar.

He is. His only hinderance is those glass ankles.

That's a big problem for him, I think he would've been a real all-star if it wasn't for injuries, since they really damaged his career.
I'm also sure Greg Oden would've been a new Tim Duncan if it wasn't for injuries.

Umm curry has turned into a star this season. I think he is, but from not getting to partake in all star game I don't think others feel the same.

I know my team is large market, but seeing a team that comes out of nowhere and plays with heart and fun to watch, I'd like to see them win, especially if some of my team players are too worried on getting ejected because they want beat up lebron and company..lol

It is, but I think his bigger problem was not enough hype from ESPN. That and the fact that there are so many quality guards in the West are the main reasons he didn't makr the all-star team this year. He's got the hype now to make it though.

And Oden to me would have been a dominant defensive center. I can't see him being a 2-way player like Duncan

That's how teams get superstars. Sometimes you draft them and they pan out and grow into a superstar. Sometimes you have to trade for them or sign them as free agents.

Nice job Indiana.

I'm glad to see them (almost) in the Eastern finals.

They have a great defense and Miami will have a tough job beating them.

Agreed. I really like Paul George. Their D is killer. Only question will be if they can score enough points themselves

Memphis is gonna play Western finals ... and when they traded Rudy Gay to Toronto, I thought they will be out in the 1st round, I really didn't expect from them to go this far.

Rudy gay was too one-dimensional for them to be successful with him running the show. He's a good player, but he's a volume scorer and not much else.

Memphis is much better balanced offensively now, and also much better defensively. I think they'll go as far as Mike Conley takes them. Their bigs play the game the right way. That will ensure they have a fighting chance in every game. At the end of the game it will be up to Conley to close the games out by making the right decisions with the basketball.

So, what is Indiana's chances against the Miami? Can they take them to the 6 or possibly 7 games?

Very good depending on how the officials call the series. If they don't allow it to be a physical series, Miami probably wins it in 5. If both teams are allowed to push, scratch, and claw I'd say they can push it to 6 or 7. I'm worried about Indy's offense though. (This is assuming they polish off NY or course)
