You guys think there would be the slightest chance that a middle car would get a v10 when a gt500 gets a v8? I dont think so, but god dam i really hope so.

and i dont think there are many who wouldnt lol. V-10 power!!!!
hey!! hey hey hey!!!!
what about when the ford GT's production is halted there are posibilities of the shelby daytona being put into production rite? well it could share the V-10 with the stang!!!!
for image purposes give the one in the stang 3V heads and 4V in the daytona
and heck, maybe even stick it in the F series.
dunno if thats all cost effective.... but it could be fun
thats three possible uses for a 351 cid behemoth. this could be fun.
and while im at it, is there anyone else who thinks the V8 focus should be produced?

Wouldnt that rock our world!
Hey, if they can make peace with C.Shelby, they can do it for the "Boss" too!!!

SE = "Spongebob" Edition.
I was laughing when a GTO passed me the other day...we both knew what I had, or...didn't. Man, I felt I was back in kindergarten. And he was driving an '04!
You mean to say I'm gonna need a POS Shelby to beat a GTO with a Mustang?
That or wait 24 more months and/or 24K miles for the rest of the warranty to run out on my 05 and then clone it! It's a Mustang not a Gigapet, how much care and feeding will it take to get performance?
...350HP doesn't get much respect out there!

I couldn't have said it better, the GT500 is primarily a big HP machine focused on straight line acceleration and HP bragging rights all wrapped in a more luxurious package aimed at dominating the street.
When considering the next SE model, the emphasis should be on providing something different, not simply a lesser version of the current offering. A Boss or GT350 would be the best choice and should focus on balanced handling, stellar braking and high RPM N/A horsepower. Including such features as an IRS, lighter weight, a N/A 4.6L with 350 hp +, Recaros and other options would be so appealing.
If Ford were to listen to Rhumb, myself and others and offer an SE with those options, there would be plenty of demand for both a GT500 and Boss (or GT350). Offering such a model would not detract from either model and would broaden the Mustang's appeal as well as addressing a notable gap in the model line-up.
