This is awesome news! It is going to be so hard to wait for the kit that lets you use the SALEEN hood. I am so tempted to order one of the first ones and just slap my factory hood back on. Lack of patience is a path to the "Darkside"! I must wait and as you can see I wear white!

Hey there,

Just curious - which shaker do you have? If its the CDC, this is SUPPOSED to work with that setup. So, buy the base ShakerCharger

My car is being used to write the install manual for the Super Shaker. Base price is the entire unit. Shaker upgrade is if you already have an existing 435 hp series Saleen VI Supercharger installed in your car it will cost $1649.99 to add the ram air portion of the Super Shaker. If you already have the 475 hp series the upgrade to add the ram air is $1249.99. If you own a PJ Edition mustang the cost is $7499.99 because your PJ mustang will be numbered and registered as such and only a limited number will be sold.

Yep - base kit is $6949.99 and should get you right in that general area (475-500HP) at the crank.

Saleen has told me we can start taking pre-orders for these kits now

Im working on funding this project now. I am somewhat concerned as to over powering or damaging the drive train. I am a daily driver and though i dont generally have to drive alot, i do take highway trips and such on occasion. I have heard horror stories of guys blowing the transmission who were running close to 500hp. I think ill end up posting my concerns so that others with the same concerns can get the info they are looking for.

I get my car back in two weeks if you like send me a PM and I'll let you know how the Super Shaker is working out for me. My car is also a daily driver. I drive a lot on the streets during the week and a lot of HWY on weekends. Cars were ment to driven. BTW others say I drive hard, so my use of the Super Shaker will be an excellent test

How do you get chosen to get new things installed on your car for testing like that? I sure wish that my car could get in on some of that test action and get to keep all those horsepower goodies for free! Instead I have to shell out almost 1,700 dollars to get one. I need to stand in front of Wal-Mart with a bucket and a bell and say "donate to the care for the Mustangs fund!"

That is not installed right? Say $1000 for install without the shaker it would be 8K?

Self install 2 days beer and food to feed friends $200. if can tune is include with the kit. Hmm $ 7200 vs $8400 installed and dynoed

Edit: What is the cost of a twin turbo installed?

Actually the install is around $1,600 - $2000. Remember they need to do a hood cut out.
