The CDC shaker still feeds into the air box , but this looks like it's a straight shot into the throttle body ...

Looks amazingly similar to this setup I saw at the MCA 30th in Birmingham last year:

Looks good, but would look better if the filter box wasn't red

This looks very nice! I know the power gains of the Saleen blower don't match up to those generated by a KB or Whipple, but this kit could make me forego these products, if Saleen had the foresight to use the same location and dimensions for it's scoop as CDC did for theirs. Judging by these first pictures, it looks like it may be in the right neighbourhood. And it sure looks like CDC's scoop without the shroud.

That box was painted to go with the theme of the car (hence the red S7 race seats. From what Jim III said over on modularfords.com, the color will be standard black. This was painted for SEMA. I think I've finally found my blower!!!! Now, just have to decide if I want to pursue it.

Hey Cam, I have 2 friends in my BADMC group who are on this forum MaverickMLFD and Hi Roller. Mav has a Whipple, and Hi Roller has a Saleen. Borh have 475 hp to the tires (last time I checked). So the power output is pretty much equal between the two.

Hum...... knowing Saleen, price will be somewhere between "too much" and "grossly too much".

I like how clean the Shaker makes the underhood compartment look.

I wonder if Saleen will offer a Shaker without the Supercharger for people on a budget? It would require a smaller MAF and possibly a tune.

It would also be cool if the Shaker set up could be used to make the factory hood scoops functional!
