Wonder what the price will be? Hopefully the kit will not cost more than a Saleen SC + a CDC shaker kit would seperately.

 

If I can sneak this past the misses, i forseee one of these in my futre.

 

I'm thinking about $1200/$1500 range and perhaps after the rush and a year goes by on sale for $999.

they better make a kit desinged for people that already have the shaker....

Wow, a hood scoop I might actually buy. Normally I can't stand stuff thats just for show. I had the oppourtunity to get a CT/CS but nonfunctional scoops are just not something I have any intrest in.

 

It's been mentioned before, but I don't like how the filter sits right there by the opening. Waiting on word form Saleen to see what they've done to prevent water from getting to the filter.

 

I smell a group buy for this coming up! Let me be the first to say Im in for this Group BUY!!!!! I want I want I want I want I want it!!!! lol...... I was gonna stay N/A but after this... Im sold!

Yeah... I think the reason whey the KB numbers always seem to com out higher is that... Saleen warrantees their cars as a manufacturer.... KB doesn't have to warrantee anything but the blower... if they want to. So, the pully that comes with the Saleen is goig to be 4-6 psi.... and who knows what people are putting on their KBs. The compressor is the same twin screw (Lysholm compressor).... it's just the different housings and configurations. So... all things being equal... they're going to have the same numbers, no matter who's name is stampped in the aluminum.

 

id be in for a group buy if i had the cash.... i guess it depends when it is and how much it is... maybe after i get some taxes and my bonus....

I need to get this past my mechanic (aka my father). He's 69 years old, with over 55 years experience, and will be fixing my car once the warranty is up, BUT he's not too keen on my ideas of a blower! Maybe I can somehow get this past him, cause its AWESOME looking!!

 

god i want one of these, even thought the sound clip does not do it justice i believe this one is going to sound like an 03 cobra during rev but i want to hear how it would sound at a drive-by

yeah it is true but like i implide, the only way to get a real feeling for the SC will be if you are in front of the car, i have heard ALOT of sound clips of stock cobras and not one was the same even vids that had the same exact car but in diffrent vids it did not sound the same
