Ford's webpage now has pictures of the SHELBY.
Excellent. Delete the stripes and we have another very under the radar,VERY capable car for drivers not posers. Was really hoping for the IRS but according to steeda the solid can be made very good and helps keep the cost down. So what do you folks think the next special colour will be?
I dont see all the pics I guess Brad has been busy. Heres a like to Fords Info page which is great stuff.

that would cost more to make I think
I actually love the side scoops on that silver '05 GT. Integrated ducktail rocks but the Shelby's isn't bad. I realize they're trying to keep the cost down. The only thing I don't like is the fact that nothing was done to the rear side windows, but that could change by production time.
There are a couple of interior shots (dash instrument closeups only) if you go to this page and scroll down. I like the red stitching on the steering wheel and the horn button.

Crikes, I thought I was being funny (OK, mildly amusing)... the darn thing DOES have MyColor!
We have a SALE!!! Seriously, is the bumper larger, swollen, deformed, whatever, or am I being fooled by the lack of a center logo? (The cobra is VERY understated BTW)
Would love to see a Chop of that car with 18" Bullets, bet it actually looks nicer. Or 19" Hallibrands, with spinners.....
Going to bed now....
Wow, that is awesome. The powertrain is impressive. I think the wheels look great, and 19" is perfect for a Cobra. I am a little surprised that it is sporting 255 tires, rather than something like a 275. 255s are what will be an option on the '06 GT.
The Shelby styling cues look great IMO, and are fairly subtle. I think that I'd rather have body colored rocker panels though, and I'd do without the rocker panel stripes while leaving the racing stripes along the top of the vehicle. The half painted side mirrors should be on this car also, IMO. The guages in the interior look great, and the nicer finishes and more abundant use of leather, makes for a higher quality interior than the GT's.

Soooo sexy. I initally wasn't a big fan of the wheels but I think this shot took away all my worries. I think the car is amazing, can't wait to see more of the interior (the gauges look like the same script Saleen is using).

why did they reverse the tach and speedo I mean they are exactly the same size and neither is centered?

When you are driving (really driving) a manual, people tend to have their left hand in the center of the steering wheel and their right hand shifting gears. This blocks the view of the tach (with left arm) if it were on the left side of the dash. In most cases (other than normal daily driving) it is more important to see the engine RPM rather than the vehicle speed (when racing, shifting at optimum rpms). I also think the superchared, high revving engine would explain the tach position.
