Thanks. I'll take that over being a dumbxxx any day. Posting fiction as facts is best when desguised as an amateurish opinion.

Mr. Mustang...Yeah, I know! The only Cobra model in 2000 was the "R," but Ford had put out some brochures for the 2000 Cobra before they decided to hold production. I thought it was kind of a fluke and so I kept it. A novelty item I suppose...
I don't know if you read the entire thread, but I acknowleged the 03/04 Mach and Cobra as being under rated. I mentioned the Bullitt "Fiasco" as a personal experience with trying to purchase a special edition and by the time the product hit the street it's HP rating was much lower than my dealer or I originally expected.

Good for you. Your credibility is now unquestionable. You get a cookie.
We'll nominate you for the Nobel Peace prize on spelling since the one for Mustang knowledge is out of the question.

wsmatau, Ok, the 'fiasco' was in your head. Fine. Move on. This forum is about the 2005. Not the 2001 Bullitt. Open a new thread in the SN-95 forum if you wish to discuss this further.

I didnt read every post, so this may be a repost.
But, only 400rwhp from a blown 5.4? Thats freaking WEAK.
Why do I say that? Cause the 03-04 Cobras put down around 380 rwhp stock.

George is just makin new friends
We go way back from the BON days.
The concept Bullitt had SO many differences between the production one. The whole rear bumper was different, the front end was different, the side scoops were moulded ala FR500, and the interior was great!
The 2000 Cobra was pulled due to the 99 fiasco, there were brochures, and some actually produced. Most went oversea's to Austrailia and got converted 'right hand drive' and there were rumours that SOME stayed here and Ford guys got them.
Which brings us to the 07 Cobra....

Wow, I really like that clean, simple rear end of that concept Bullitt.
As far as '07 Cobra hp goes, wait and see. I seriously doubt Ford will let us down.

Wow! i can't wait until the new cobra comes out. Thats what i really want. Does anyone know if their will be any body changes to it? Or stripes that will be avialable for it stock or as an option? Anyone know? Other then a beefier engine what else will the cobra have that the gt doesnt? We should make a list of that.

I know I won't get a Cobra anytime soon, but I'm really into see what rims they'll have no doubt 18s, but SVT has always had some simple yet cut rims on their Cobra's

Rumors are all over this site. Past history hints at a few things (such as IRS).
I called SVT a while back. The guy could not give details, but, he was enthusiastic about saying it was a major improvement.
Recently, Ford announced it would reveal more about its plans for SVT at the New York Auto show in 2005. I hope this means revealing the Cobra concept, but, it did not say that.
