this Saturday the XMP stang made history being the first American team (driver and car) to win the D1 (drift) championship, it was a showdown between the best of Japan and USA and once again Ford showed the racing world what Americans are made of. Amazing first we took over all the American racing, then we went to Europe and showed Ferrari what a real car looks like at Le Mans and now we take over Asia and show Japan how to trully drive a car in a sport that they not only created but have been doing much longer than we have (considering this is only Americas second year) and are supposedly much better than us. I guess that just goes to show you what a real car can do.

Go Stangs......

Nice to see the Mustang doing well in drifting. The car just seems to do well in any type of racing event.

I saw a couple of drifting videos, and it looks like a lot of fun! Now all I have to do is find an empty parking lot... hhmm...

That is pretty cool, although I still hesitate to say that drifting is synonymous with racing.

Yes!! So when are they going to release the D1 GP game for the (PS2) US? It better have the US cars in it. That will be the only way I will go "dorifuto" in a Mustang. Also wanna see the El Camino/Caballero too! Hmm... maybe having some Japanese made parts helped sway the judges a little? Just Kidding!
About the Initial D movie mentioned a few posts back? Is it live-action or animated? The live-action one for sale at a few shops here is not a Japanese production. (Hong Kong, I think).

powersliding really is a piece of cake in this car when you get it lowered and put on the right wheels/tires. it blew me away compared to my experiences with s2k, m3, m5, and even a vette powersliding

wow, it's a real S15, what was it doing there. If I was you I would of have taken it down & pushed it into my backyard . Do you know the guy who owns the car? My brother took his a car to a show were a bunch of people took their cars to try to come out in the movie. They told him to go back the week after, but he never showed up because had a little accident at Knott's with the car 4 days before.

As for the Mustang, we are not only showing Japan what Ford could do, were are showing the rest of the world what a great car the Mustang is . It's not only a straight line car, it could also turn and drift better than modified imports.

we were just hitching it up to the back of my friends truck when the owner came out...lol, jk. Yeah its real, the owner owns a shop called Showgun down here where he works on Nissans and he imports them if you want one. This one is his. I think his parents live down the street or something, because he lives in LA but his shop is down here. He wasnt around when I saw the car, but I know it is his, my friend in the pics has an S14.

Is your friends a 240 converted into a s14 or a original right hand drive s14? My brothers used to be a 240 but the shop were he bought it from (Option Imports) converted the car into a original S14, except for the left hand drive. Just wondering, how much does he charge to get a S15 here?
