I have been re-reading all the threads on this, and wanted to get a new one started now that we know alot more about our engines. I just found out I will be comming into some cash in January and will actually have enough for a Turbo or SC kit (with install costs) for my car. So far, I know I have to do the following to prepare for it:

1. Girdle w/relocation bracket
2. Should probably get new pistons as well

What about the heads? The CS6 is SC and Mike's 11 second stang is Turbo'd. My understanding is that the turbo takes a bit to wind up, so using a two stage nitrous/turbo setup would yeild the best results. Also, from a hard launch perspective, is the LCA's really a must? Scrming, perhaps you can give some input on how your car hooks with and with out them.

I'm leaning towards a super charger right now.

Thoughts, opinions?

Mike is working on a low profile girdle so you won't need to relocate your panhard...

Also, while I wasn't driving so I can't be 100% sure... but... I really didn't notice any turbo lag... I mean the car took off like crazy from the stop light! LOL!

I talked to Mike and he told me the low profile girdle is a long way off. I called TA Performance and they told me they would do a low profile girdle for me and make up a whole run of them, in case anyone else is interested. Haven't heard back from them though. I'll call them again on Monday.

If you get another chance, if you could take along your camcorder and film the in cockpit action... That would be awsome..
