Its a little more in depth I know then the sn95, but I don't can't imagine you having to drop the trans. Like somebody else said, its like a 2 on the mechanical scale. If you can use leggos, you should be able to instal a shifter.

Btw wath you guys think it's the very best option about short shifters?

I was thinking about the steeda triax, ford racing or the barton, just cant decide on witch one :S

Mgw is top notch. I've also heard good things about Barton.

I installed a Steeda Tri-ax GT shifter on my V6 and I have had no problems with it.

Go to this website(http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-shop-all.html) and click on your year model then drivetrain. select the shifter you like and then look at the installation instructions (very detailed). You can then decide if you're up to it or not.
