Short Throw Shifter

So I was thinking about getting this.
http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-raci...09/p/M7210MV6/
Was JW how much it costs to have installed?
Or possibly would it be something I myself could do?
I'm no mechanic so was JW.

You can always try and do a write up. Looks like cjpp is offering $250 for the first write up on that shifter.

Do you know how you learn? Dig in and try. A shifter change is about a 2 on the mechanic scale.

if you can tie your shoes you can do it, lol, but holy crack pipe $300?!?!?!
No way--
Although now that I look around that Hurst shifter is getting harder to find, AM had it for under $200

Hurst Competition Plus Shifter - T-5 (05-09 V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Discontinued

Better off getting a Steeda Triax for that money, its a very nice shifter, or here

I'm gonna call MGW Monday to talk to someone about their shifter for the V6. Does anyone have any experience with their v6 short throw shifter?
