Thanks TJ06!! It sounds killer in person.. This was the best recording I could do for now..

When i'm driving it and jump on it to WOT, it really sounds like its diggin deep.. I cant really describe it.. With the video, take what you hear to be fact, and imagine it diggin deeper when pushing 3400lbs of car around, then you will know why this has been so frustrating trying to bring you guys the sound..

 

Holy Crap!!! That sounds mean as c@it! MSP you are killing me here, now I have to spend the extra cash. It just sounds so darn mean. Even with this clip, I can tell. And you are right, reminds me of my old 5.0.

Thanks.. I am going to try and make a clip of a dead-stop digg!! What I mean is I want to make one where you can hear me diggin from 1st to 2nd and maybe 3rd.. Only thing is, I cant go too far away from my camera.. LOL!! Gotta get back quick enough to keep the file from being too large..

Someone had to try out the Prochamber, so community would know..

I still have not done the dyno work, so yes there is something still left to uncover, but I think its rude to disrespect someone for their efforts in trying to open other opportunities for the community..

This is the thanks I get for going out of my way and spending my money to find out what the prochamber can provide? This is the worst case of pure arrogance I have ever witnessed on these forums.. I would expect a GT owner to be a smartazz about it, but not another V6'er!

 

It is the quality of the recording, and I’m an audiophile. Next to the stang, my other modding addiction is my home theatre for movies and music. It took me 6 months just to choose my center channel speaker. I used to be a sound tech many many years ago.

I personally made 5 recordings of my exhaust and none of them provided good representation. So after going through that, I know how to listen to a poor quality recording and determine the sound. The key with MSP’s file is the “thuda thuda thuda� sound, and believe me, it is there. And that is an achievement on the V6, especially at the higher revs.

I think we will all be surprised when we hear them in real life. I am pretty much sold on this configuration, only problem is when. I’m kinda working on something else for the car and will have to wait on this.

Zodiac did admit that it might be the quality of the recording. We have enough trouble from thread trolls, though it has been quiet lately...so lets chalk this one up to a mis-understanding.

Its kool, based on my experience, the Prochamber feels better than the xpipe.. I already admitted I never heard the HPIPE, and couldnt judge it.. But based on the science of it all, it would be highly unlikley that it could surpass the Pro-Chamber..

I stand in the corner of the Pro-Chamber, I think the theory behind it is proven.. This should hold true on the dyno as well..

So I come out of this with a few more notches under my belt..

1 I know the ProChamber is a good investment.. 2 I know who my real friends are..

 

But you failed to quote the last part which states the opposite opinion.. No need to stick up for Zodiac, Jimp.. We know where we stand..


Also, it must be noted that the system is straight through with no mufflers.. Which means adding my series 40's would only enhance the sound..

So while Zodiac makes a comparison of a straight-through exhaust system without any mufflers or resonators to his system with flows, I think he unwillingly says the Prochamber must be good, if thats what it sounds like straight through.

I would ask him to remove his flowmasters, and hear how the car sounds, and make a recording and post it for the world to hear..

 

Everyone here is a friend, just different opinions, it is what forces us to think outside the box. Zodiac is a good guy, I would seriously let this one pass and see it for what it was, a mis-understanding. We are all on the same team here, we just go about crossing the finish line with a different set of tools/methods.

 

Ok, you said it may be the quality of the sound recording, same as Zodiac. Then you say that nobody else's exhaust could possibly sound as good as yours. You said that with your last setup. That isn't arrogance?

 

How could it be that a straight-through exhaust system sounds as good as one with Flowmasters, on the SOHC 4.0 V6?

This is twice in the same thread you have attacked me for absolutely nothing. YOU are calling ME arrogant? I have done NOTHING but provide an objective REASONABLE valuation of what I heard. I compared it to the setup I know best - my own. If I said "Oh, those MACs sound like the JBAs" or "Oh, those straight pipes sound like an old 5.0" how is that any different?

I have never done ANYTHING to proke you MSP. Ive stood behind you long and hard many, many times on these forums. And not just here in the v6 forum. I stood behind you over on Stangnet when you were banned, and even protested it to the mods in several private convos. I no longer post there because I believe the way you were dealt with was unfair and wrong.

You call me arrogant because Im lucky enough to live near Doug and get to work with him personally? Even in the C&L thread where my numbers and evauation were posted it was YOU making a big deal of it. In another thread comparing our cars against an old m3 it was YOU making a big deal of what my car can do. I have NEVER boasted what my car can or can not do. If I have said, "Yeah I raced an old BMW 325i" and won hey guess what, it happened. I reported it. It wasnt "Yeah I skunked that import luxury car nice and good kekeke ricers suxX0r! liek OMG my car r00lz h4rdc0re 1337 guys!"

I dont think you have any idea what you're talking about and just dont think you can take any kind of criticism. NOT that what I said was even criticism. If you cant take the bad with the good, get off the internet and stop posting in public forums.
