As the title says, my ProCharger Stage II is on order.

The kit includes the charger, 3-core intercooler, 42lb injectors, NGK V-power plugs and everything I need to install it. It also comes with a Diablo Predator and unlimited tune support (no going through the ProCharger tuning nightmare like Belial...).

While I'm waiting for the kit to come, I wanted to order an LSD. As it seems, I have three choices. Ford T-Lok, Auburn, or Detroit TrueTrac.

AFAIK, I'm the only one in these or the Mustang forums who has ordered this kit, so I have no idea where my RWHP will be. I'm hoping for 350 or so... but am prepared for a more humble 315-325.

What would be the best bet, considering the price, for an LSD? The TT is a bit pricey at $385.... Also, where is the cheapest place to buy one?

Great to hear about another s/c on the way. In anticipation of a S/C I had 3.73 FRP and Detroit TT installed on my pony about 2 months ago. I figured that it was the only way to really run the H.O. Vortech with Aftercooler that I just ordered this week as well. The TT is amazingly strong and grabs like a biatch. I definitly would recommend the TT and for the price ($350) at drivetrainspecialists.com you can't go wrong. Trust me when you end up spending around 4G's + you shouldn't neglect the rear for a difference of only a few hundred bucks... Go for the TT - you won't regret it

And while you are at it... get the gears done as well... you'll get a better deal doing them at the same time.

Congrats on the SC! I agree with screaminyellin, get the TT. It won't break and never has to be rebuilt. Spend the extra money and get the one you won't have to worry about.

EXACTLY which supercharger did you buy? I see that ATI makes the procharger for the 05 V6 with only a 2 core intercooler not a 3 core.
By stage ii you mean the 9 psi? I am saving for one as well.
Thanks.

Well, I wish I knew how to subscribe for notification of replies after submitting the post, because I just ordered the T-Lok.... Plus, at V6MustangStuff.com, I was able to pay via PayPal which helps keep it under the radar. After ordering, I noticed a guy who's been selling them on Ebay for $169 with $15 shipping. I'm gonna see if I can cancel my order!

I read several threads on how the T-Lok is good for 400RWHP or so, and that the TT would be the best choice if you planned on going over the 400HP mark.

I seriously doubt I'll be able to make that kinda HP with the Stage II. I'm hoping for 350RWHP or so, but won't be disappointed if I don't hit that.

Should I ever decide to do more than the SC, which I sincerely doubt, I'll have no problem springing for the TT.

Does anyone here think the T-Lok will not be strong enough for the Stage II?

Oh yeah, does anyone have an install guide, or a copy of the PDF Ford manual? I'd really like to install this myself....

I got the ProCharger through a place that sells it as a complete kit. If you go to ProCharger's site, you'll see they only show a 9 psi kit with a 2-core intercooler. The 3-core is new. When I called Josh at ProCharger, he didn't even know about it. When I told him about the kit I was ordering, he looked it and up and was like "Hey! We do sell a 3-core for the V6 now!".

I would tell you who I got it from, but I'm holding out until I receive everything. I'm pretty sure they gave me a price that was waaaay too low. I got the entire Stage II kit, with 3-core intercooler, 42lb injectors, NGK plugs, and Diablo Predator for $3809 shipped.

You'll probably be fine with the T-Lok. The biggest thing is how hard you plan to launch at the dragstrip. If you get slicks or drag radials and launch at 4000rpm or more, you may break it. If you have an automatic, you'll probably be just fine. If you don't plan to take it to the dragstrip, you don't have anything to worry about. Powerhouse broke his t-lok with a 150 shot of NOS running a 12.3, I believe with slicks and lifting the front tires off the ground! If you don't plan on going that radical, don't sweat it. I would get the TT. It's the strongest one and the only weak link you will have is the axles. I have had the benefit of being in a car with a tlok and a tt (Excepcion13's car) and I can honestly say his car hooks better from a dead stop.
