antifreeze leak..help lol

ok so my thermostat housing unit was leaking.. so today i replaced it along with the housing to block gasket and thermostat gasket

great.. now i got antifreeze PUMPIN out of the water temp sensor

now is my problem using the old one? since there is a gasket on the temp sensor should i have replaced that as well? ..seems to be the only logical explanation

im assunign this since its the only old part in there and i was always taught to never reuse gaskets
