V6 rear springs?

I have a friend that has a 2005 conv v6 he was looking at lowering just the rear. I know you can buy just rear springs for the GT but where can he get ones for his v6? he wants the car level to get rid of the huge gap on the back wheel. Thanks.

Get the rear Roush lowering springs. I had these on my GT and they leveled it nicely.

Does roush sell v6 springs? I had emailed them earlier in the week but they said their springs did not work with a v6

Why stick with the V6 suspension when you coulda had a V8? It includes the Roush rear springs.

We have an 06 GT Vert with the Eibach Pro-Kit. It's the wife's car and I had to make sure the ride was smooth over bumps, yet could turn in better and hold a curve. I would recommend the Eibach Pro-Kit #35100-140 for V6 S197 verts. This will level the car and make handling improvements. You will also need to realign the car.

Yea this is what I thought but the guy in the email to Roush said other wise, I'm guessing he really didn't know anyway. Maybe when I pull my springs out I will check the rear against his. Thanks guys.

i installed Steeda UltraLites in the rear at first (ran out of time to do the fronts). The ride was fine, but the front looked a little higher than the back. Once I installed the front springs, everything looked good again

I just bought GT springs for my V6 Convert, no issues at all

I did the same with Steeda Sport springs. I'm not certain why Mr Ford uses different rate springs on a V6 or convertible. Guessing it's because your typical buyer wants a more "luxurious" ride. What does he know?

Here's a place where the spring rates are set out for your edification and enjoyment:

Suspension is on document page 10, PDF page 13.

"Home" page for this very useful linkset is:
