We are doing the center mount for the GT next followed by the center mount for the 6. Unfortunately, these really take a lot of tooling and design time.

I think I'll wait for an '06 "Pony Package" grille to retrofit to my '05 V6. I'm not looking for the "GT" look, but I like what I see in the Pony Package.

I Like the design. Very professional. I especially like the use of the factory lamps and the full on harness. I'm all about doing these types of things correctly.

The only complaint I have about this setup is the mesh for the grille. It looks too much like chicken wire to me. Perhaps the black powder coat or black chrome versions wouldn't look so bad. Does anyone have shots of these?

It would be really nice to (optionally) have the same grille pattern as the stock grille. That would make me go all out for the kit. Right now I hold a little reservation because of the mod grille. It looks a little too ricey for me, but I LOVE the fogs. Killer job on making this replacement.

I look forward to seeing some shots of the finished product and a few of it on a car. That might change my mind a little. If it is possible, you might want to offer a more toned down grille pattern or at least something that doesn't show as much.

Great Job. Thanks for all the hard work your folks are putting into it!

EDIT: Mustang Mike, can you repost the image of the V6 Grille WITH the speed grille insert? It looks like it didn't finish uploading or something. The bottom is cut off. Thanks.

Stanger X Ill get some photos of the one in black chrome and black powder coat- I think you will like that one better- I have the black powdercoat on my Mustang. I liked it the most. We didnt do the stock insides for several manufacturing and marketing reasons.

After checking out your website, I see why (slaps head) :bang: . I feel a bit silly now having looked. It's obvious that the grille pattern you use is somewhat of a trademark thing that you guys use on all of your products.

All of that having been said, I also scoured the site looking for some shots of black chrome and powder coat finishes and could only find shots of the black chrome on an F150. Had a tough time getting a close look, but I liked it MUCH more than the brushed or stainless. I'll keep my eyes peeled for your shots.

I think I'm starting to dig it much more as I take a closer look and really take it in. I think it helped seeing a few of your other products on some cars too. kind of put it all in perspective. I'll wait to see your shots before casting a final verdict, but let's say that I definately wait with baited breath.

As long as you give folks lots of choices (which it definately looks like you're doing), then I think you'll sell a ton.

Only a few other questions still remain:

Obviously, you've mentioned a kit that will have the full wiring harness and all. This will essentially mimic the stock GT harness?

I am also a tad fuzzy on the inclusion/exclusion of the actual lamps and housings in the kit. I came across an earlier post you made that mentioned these items would have to be procurred seperately from a dealer. Would this be the case?

Finally (and I think the biggest question of all), I know that it's still a tad early on to be discussing cost, but would it be possible to give a ballpark idea of around how much we should anticipate for this nice addition? I'm getting the feeling that as I look at all of this that the cost will be a bit out of the league of what some of us would like to pay.

I think the demand on these items could be very hot, and as such, pricing will probably be pretty steep at first. I didn't paruse the site enough to get a general pricing ideas.

Thanks for keeping us all in the loop. I can't wait to see that satin finish. Should be up my alley! If the price is fair, I think you'll have yourself MANY buyers, especially from this site.

Stanger- all good questions. Yes the speed grille pattern is our patented look. Im partial to it but again, thats whats great about the aftermarket- you have lots of choices! The wire harness kit is really nice. It comes complete with the switch, wire harness kit, relay, correct plugs etc. Its not exactly like the GT harness, but I really think its of OE quality. One of the big diffrences is that it has a seperate switch that you will have to mount. On the OE GT switch, you pull out on the factory light switch to turn on the driving lilghts. Ours will have a seperate button that mounts next to the light switch. You will need to drill a small hole for this switch. The nice thing about is that the switch looks OE. Ill try to remember to post some pictures of the switch mounted. I think you will like it. Its pretty clean. You are correct- to keep the OE look, we went with the OE driving lights which would need to be purchased from the Ford dealer. This is the only way we could keep the look. We are trying to source these lights elsewhere but so far no luck. If we can find them cheeper or something close to them, we will advise. The wire harness kit has the correct plugs to use the OE lights. Again, I personally like the black chrome or black powdercoat grille inserts, but you would be suprised to find out how many aluminum and chrome grilles we have already sold for the 05 Mustang. We anticipate this conversion kit to be pretty hot and our distributors have already pre-ordered several. Im at home now and I dont remember the ball park pricing but Ill look it up when I get back into the office. I have to be carefull about pricing because we cant actually quote price. Our distributors have a "suggested price" but are free to compete. We dont price fix. It a touchy subject, but again Ill try to get you a ballpark price.

yeah... can't wait to see those pics! It'll be cool to check out the switch and see the different styles of grilles. I'm also pretty excited to see how the horse works into the design.

Come on mike, don't leave us hangin' here! LOL!

OK- here you go- we didnt do our first run on the grille shell today due to a couple of last minute tuneups on the mold. Looks like it will be tomorrow. Here is the switch set up for the 6 cylinder. It will mount right next to your factory light switch. Its even has the same style markings. Very clean in my opinion..

Looks REALLY nice. I'm definately Diging it. I can't wait to see the grille shots too. Hope you work the pony in nicely.

The switch is clean and accentuates the stock items very well. So long as the price on the kits is reasonable, You've got a really awesome project on your hands and a nice seller. Hopefully the venders will keep in mind that we will still have to purchase the lamps from Ford.

Kudo's. Great job. Hip Hip....

Anyone have any shots of the various grille finishes? Brushed is pretty standard and smeared all over the street scene site. I did a little digging and found a black chrome finish in an F150 grille section. I haven't been able to find the black powder coat, and I don't recall if I've seen the Chrome yet. I can do some looking to find the black chrome if anyone's interrested...

Just trying to get a sense of what it will eventually look like.

EDIT: These were what I found. Nothing on powder coat...

Chrome (F150):

Black Chrome (F150):
