Thanks Mike! Glad to see you're still alive
I checked out that site, and found some great shots. Here's a money shot of a GT with the black powder coat. This should give you guys a great idea of what it looks like all together.

I'm sold. I'll take one <tears of joy>

It's.... It's beautiful man.....

LOL! Yeah... I could use the extra income... remote phone sales... HM...

I dig the finish. It's gorgeous. I wouldn't change a thing. I love the pony too. Very well worked in. When you wrap up the 6 version... I would try not to change a thing. That is the PERFECT design. Just gotta pray for a good price, and I'm golden!

Thanks again for the hard work.

I didnt realize the Gen II 1/4 windows were priced differently than Gen I.

Is there a list of distributors where we can find local dist's and compare prices?

That's illegal here in Texas. By law, fog or driving lights must go out when the high beams are engaged.
That is also illegal here in Virginia. In virginia, if the light is classified as a fog light (based on the code on the lens, the Mustang lights are) then they must automatically disengage when the highbeams are engaged/flashed.

They may be on any other time... HOWEVER, it is also illegal for them to be on without the tail lights on. This goes for any forward-facing lights on cars in Virginia.

They don't likely check this during a standard inspection, but all forward-facing lights on a vehicle in virginia must be wired through the tail light circuit.

Maybe I am a little confused, but was the second shot you posted of the grill shell different from the first. It seemed that the second one had the fog lights together in the middle. The picture of the orange car posted by Stranger has them on the outside again w/ the horse. Will the V6 one have the lights in the middle or on the outside, and is that what the horse will look like?

Mike was showing us that you'll have a choice. there are 2 shells in the works. One will put the fogs on the outside like the stock GT cars. The other shell will put them in the middle. It'll be up to you which you want. The pic I posted was of a GT car with the speed grille installed over the stock grille. It was more to give an idea of what the finished product will look like... Since Mike will post the final pics when they wrap up work on it, and I couldn't bear to wait until then to find a HINT of what the powder coat finish would look like with the outside mount fogs.

EDIT: I belive that the center mount fog shell will also be available for the GT cars as well... Right Mike? Can't recall....

I can see there will definately be choices available what with the pony package fog setup coming in 06. Still, I think this will be the more agressive look. While I like the pony package setup, I think this one adds BEEF to the front end. Either way, you can't loose, and this is another historical time in mustang history (and a great time to be an owner!)

I don't know if you've thought about this, but since the front of the new mustang with the two round headlights and two foglights in the grill looks a lot like the front of the 1969 mustangs, would you consider offering a speed grill insert that didn't have the pony in the center, but instead had the small pony and tri-bar emblam off to the driver's side? Something like this pic:

I think this would be a very cool idea, and would give this product a very unique look, at least as far as 2005 mustangs go.

If the Pony on the grille package is mountable, you could most likely just leave it off, buy that emblem and clips from NPD, and mount it yourself. That would be a perfect solution AND add a little classic to your retro. That is IF the emblem clips would fit the grille. I don't see why it wouldn't though.

Good idea though.

Won't the fog lights in the middle option disrupt some of the air intake?

Here's my little ballpark on the pricing. On the website Mike gave us:
http://www.musclecardirect.com

They list the following:
GT Center fog grille Shell - $290 (Listed $433)
Black Powder Coat Grille - $129 (Listed $201)
Bulbs - $77ea (Listed $102) http://www.genuine-ford-parts.com/
Wiring Harness and switch - ??? (estimating $50 )

Brings the grand total to roughly $625 pre-tax/shipping. This is a great addition, but I think the price is going to HURT.....

It would be nice to see a full kit for around $500 (including the lamps and the switch). I'm also probably being wishful on my estimated wiring switch/harness addition. I suppose we'll see what shakes down in the end. Can't wait some news next week Mike!
