Whose Tune Are You Using?
Just wondering whose tune everyone is using? I have tried both BamaChips and Breenspeed's tunes and am currently running Brenspeed's 91 octane.

Custom Dyno for me.
Bamachips if I didn't have a good local tuner.
Doug's tunes are the best you can get without a dyno.
The other local guys have checked head to head to prove it.

In your honest opinion ? what's really the difference or advantage of getting a custom dyno tune over Doug's tunes ? after the other local guys you mentioned checked head to head and proved just how good Doug's tunes stack up compared to their custom dyno tunes

Brenspeed. I respect everyone that supports Bamachips for Doug's tunes and service, but having tried both the Brenspeed tune was my clear choice. I wonder how many 'Bama supporters would feel the same if they were to try tunes from both.
Speaking about how good Brenspeeds tunes are compared to a custom dyno tune, I can tell you my numbers on the tune that Brent emailed me were 300/316. After tuning on the dyno he was able to squeeze it to 303/318 with keeping the a/f at 12.8. It doesn't get much better than that!

As for the other Bama supporters are concerned ? I can't answer for them..But I can tell you that I plan on having Mike from Powerhouse Automotive create a dyno custom tune to try out while he dyno tests my current 93 race/torque tunes from Doug to compare side by side with while also checking for proper A/F and if necessary ? will make any adjustments that may be required...I'll make certain to post the results when completed..

So in other words ? Doug dyno tuned your Stang in person correct ?

Got ya, I just assumed that when he mentioned ''that he'd been to"" I took that as meaning he took his Stang to Doug to be custom tuned on the dyno lol. But being that you're in TX ? it would definitely be well worth the trip knowing that your in the right hands with Doug dyno tuning your Stang when the time comes for upgrading to a SC

I am running Lidio's 93 octane tune for the C & L intake. I have an auto trans and his shift schedule is great. I am sure I could make a few more ponies with another tuner.

I'm using Doug's tunes.
I read a lot of good things about doug and his tunes, called him and he was super nice, knowledgable and helpfull.
In the past I let two people work on my car (my previous import) and I was one of the two. I found someone good and stuck with them. I never had a problem.
I might be a **** when it comes to women, but i'm monogomous when it comes to mechanics.
haha
